(I would hate to see a video of this product’s use — just saying, as prompted by the request for a video or photo!! Hahahaha) Quite unfortunately, I suffer from dry mouth because of certain medications. I use this product all too regularly. Indeed, I am awakened by dry mouth several times during the night, so I have this located where I can grab it without turning on the lights. Let me assure you: when your tongue and the rest of your mouth are like last year’s carpet that you threw out, water really does NOT relieve the problem. This moisturizes your tongue INSTANTLY and remarkably. It is also great for dry throat — that sort of dryness that makes you want to cough. In the drug stores, the price has climbed and is now exorbitant to the point of abject ridiculousness. By purchasing a dozen, well, I saved a bundle. I have no doubt I will be using it, so I am glad to have the quantity. Now when I am in the drugstore and see their price for this, I spray a little in my mouth so that I can easily give the price on the shelf a raspberry: pppppfffffffftttttt.

I have been on medications for decades that made my mouth dry. It's uncomfortable, and just maddening! If you saw me, you saw my big water tote, and this was before drinking water was cool. And that only gave momentary relief. So I was well-hydrated but miserable. I saw this at my local drug store, and had to try it. IT WORKS. My mouth stays moist, and my tongue doesn't stick to the roof of my mouth or my cheeks. Now I keep a bottle in the locations I'm most likely found - by my recliner in the living room, by my bed, and by the recliner in my bedroom. (Don't ask. It's a pain thing. Sometimes the recliner is the best choice for sleep.) I cannot recommend this highly enough. Biotene has an entire line of dry-mouth products - many of us Baby Boomers are getting medications now that give us dry mouth. This is your solution. And you get fresh, not-TOO-fresh breath. (I avoid oral care products that are so minty they burn, Biotene is actually pleasant.)

This sets my mouth fast. When it's dry this is what I reach for. Depending on the condition of my mouth, it can be enough. Other periods when it's dry I'll use Biotene gel and that lasts me 15 minutes. The problem is that it doesn't close right enough to carry or it needs a portable design. For me, I have to stick with the Biotene brand for the spray or gel. When the dry mouth is severe, and my mouth gets extremely dry I have found a new product that I can pouch on the gym and it helps to sleep with : Xylimelt tablets. On the worst days I've kept the Xylimelt in and had to refresh with Biotene spray. If it would stay in place or as long as it's swivel top, I wish there were a refill for people like me who have had to quit medication that was useful because this product and the others weren't available. Please note I have very bad dry mouth.

I suffer from dry mouth caused by my Sjögren's Syndrome and acting on the advice from my doctor, I purchased this Biotene Mouth Spray. I have to say, I am not a great fan of the consistency of the product, but, it does what it is designed to do and helps with my dry mouth issues. I suppose after a while I will get used to the product and the consistency will no longer be noticeable after a while. I bought the 3 pack and keep a bottle with me at all times now. I love the fact I don't have to have the parched effect going on constantly anymore. I can do a few squirts before a work meeting rather than unprofessionally sucking on a candy while trying to present information. One thing I don't like is the the way the spritzer drips after use and makes a mess, I wipe it off after each use to minimize gooey build up. This is a good product and I will buy this again and would recommend.

I have really dry mouth due to medications I take. I actually had a bottle of this for quite a while, but didn't start using it regularly until I got a CPAP machine. My mouth got so dry it was painful. So I located the bottle of this stuff and a few sprays before bed takes care of the problem. I ordered a 3-pack this time around, still just planning on using it before bed. I had these dry mouth lozenges at work (different brand) that I sometimes used, but they changed the shape and I found they cut up the inside of my mouth. I realized I could bring a bottle of spray to work too. Then one day I was out of water in my car and stuck in traffic when I realized I should put one in my purse too. Now that I'm using it more often, it really does make a big difference. I have far fewer episodes of my mouth being so dry that getting something to drink is my only priority. The main reason I had the first bottle so long and didn't really use it is that I'm really sensitive to the taste of things like this. If something tastes disgusting, I'm not going to use it no matter how well it works. I wish I would have given this a chance sooner because it works and it doesn't taste bad at all. "Gentle Mint" is a good description...it's minty without being spicy and the mint is not trying to conceal the background taste of whatever is in it. The lozenges I mentioned come from MedActive, so I decided to try their spray as well. I sprayed it once and threw it in the trash. It was horrible. I will stick with the Biotene brand from here one out.

I have very dry mouth, esp. at night. I keep this handy on bed stand. A few quick sprays and mouth feels a whole lot better. The taste is minty and the texture is kind of slippery. I swish in mouth to fully coat. Best thing I have found for middle of night relief without much hassle.

Recommended by my dentist and works immediately. I carry it in my purse.

I have extreme dry mouth at night due to some of the medication I take. It gets so bad that I have no saliva at all and it is very difficult to even swallow. This Biotene mouth spray was recommended to me by my doctor and it is a godsend! Just before going to sleep, I spray 6 to 8 times into various sections of my mouth and I immediately feel the minty freshness and my mouth is no longer dry. That generally is all I need for the entire night. (1 or 2 squirts will not be enough). My only complaint is that the outside of the bottle gets slippery after a short while because some of the mist from the spray must land on the bottle. I simply use a Lysol wipe to clean the bottle off. Also, this spray is not cheap, but it does work. I recommend it.
