Review: Burnt to a toast - and I love it! - I bought the matching kettle and kettle together. They make a great addition to my new grey kitchen. The toaster is easy to use. The great thing about it is that it takes thick sliced bread, be it pre-sliced or from a fresh loaf. Once you work out the settings it's a piece of cake, sorry bread, sorry toast. The kettle is quick to boil - it makes more noise than my last (ten-year old) kettle but that is not surprising given the speed it boils a cup full of water. Some people have complained about how difficult it is to measure out the right amount of water. Compared to my previous kettle that I had no scale on the side, I find this easy to guesstimate the amount needed. I also like the flip-top lid as it easier to fill than using the spout! All-in-all I'm very pleased with my double buy - style and substance.

A: no toast both sides

**Q: does the toaster fit plain bread**
A: Yes, but it's not deep enough to toast the full slice, there's an inch or so of bread that won't toast. I usually turn over the toast and repeat at a very low temperature to toast the rest. Fits a bagel perfectly

I bought the matching kettle and kettle together. They make a great addition to my new grey kitchen. The toaster is easy to use. The great thing about it is that it takes thick sliced bread, be it pre-sliced or from a fresh loaf. Once you work out the settings it's a piece of cake, sorry bread, sorry toast. The kettle is quick to boil - it makes more noise than my last (ten-year old) kettle but that is not surprising given the speed it boils a cup full of water. Some people have complained about how difficult it is to measure out the right amount of water.
