Decent design, good flavor
I tried others, but they were difficult to use. Flavor is good. We like to use this on out sailboat.

convenient, yet flavorful.
I recommend for those coffee snobs with not enough time to grind whole beans and do pour over from scratch. This is a great alternative for that. Also great for camping or visiting friends and families who don't do coffee.

meh.
Be prepared for a teeny tiny cup of coffee that is barely better than mud colored water and so bitter. I ordered this so we could make coffee in a hotel room while on vacation. It was such a disappointment. When the directions say to use only 6 oz of water, they are not kidding! You must dribble in the water a little at a time because the cup holders on the filter are very flimsy. Fill the filter more than half full of water and your filter will drop into your cup, dislodging the coffee grinds into your cup.To add insult to injury, if you managed not to sink your filter into the depths of your cup, the coffee from this pour over style is just weak and bitter So much effort for so little pay off.

Smells & tastes amazing!
I genuinely look forward to making this every morning - its so easy and smells so good! It does make a smaller cup, but I run hot water over it a couple of times to get more and it doesn't taste watered down at all. Highly recommend!

My portable drip coffee maker!
Coffee flavor is fresh and pleasant (medium roast). The brewing process is simple and fast. When I am on the go and travelling, this is a perfect solution for me to enjoy the coffee that I like.

Clever idea, but...
I thought this was a really great idea - kind of an instant coffee that would appeal to coffee snobs. I admit to being one of those insufferable coffee snobs, so you can take or not take my thoughts about this based on how you view that. Lol.To start with, tearing the package open releases a beautiful aroma that is filled with the promise of a great cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the experience from that point on was somewhat disappointing for me.The main things are:It really is a super clever idea.But...- the coffee picks up the taste of the odor of the filter bag. The filter bag has an unpleasant smell that is absorbed by the coffee. I smelled two different types of pour-over filters that I have (Hario and Melitta) and neither of those has any detectable odor. Coffee grounds absorb smells - I often put out a plate of them to absorb unpleasant cooking odors in my kitchen and it works like a dream for that. Not so for drinking it afterward though!- the coffee packets have a "manufacturing date" along with an expiration date (two years beyond manufacturing). I buy coffee based on the "roasted on" date and never on the expiration. It's possible that manufacturing means roasting, but since roasting is paramount when it comes to coffee, I have to question that particular terminology.- the coffee makes 5 ounces. Not a lot. If you don't have a deep cup, the brewed coffee level eventually rises above the filter bottom and that's not ideal.- to me, the coffee tastes a bit muddy, like it has some fine sediment in it. That could be due to the point mentioned above. The taste is more like the instant coffee Starbucks puts out, which is better than other instant coffees, but it is definitely not pour-over quality.I might use this in a pinch. It is better for traveling than a lot of other choices and most hotel rooms have a way to make hot water. But I would not choose this on a regular basis. If the company found a better filter paper that did not impart its odor to the coffee, then I would certainly give this a second try. I have to say that it's okay, but it's just not the coffee for me.

Good coffee, unique brewing system
First of all, the coffee was good. It had a nice flavor. But what really set this apart is the brewing system. There were 10 individually packaged packets inside the box. When you take out the packet you have to remove the coffee pouch. Its sort of like a teabag. Then you tear off the top and unfold the handles, place them over a cup and pour hot water over the pouch as it hangs in the cup. Then you just allow it to brew for a minute. Finally, remove the pouch and enjoy your coffee. It's pretty simple. That's the good. But there are a couple of cons. First, it only makes a 5 oz. cup of coffee. That's really small. Second, the pouch sort of falls into the cup as you pour the water over instead of remaining hanging. Not horribly bad since I could still use the handles to remove it without getting my fingers into the hot coffee. Perhaps the worst part is that it creates a lot of waste: the sealed packet that keeps the coffee fresh and the pouch (teabag with handles) that need to go into the trash.I made 2 cups using this system in order to give it a fair evaluation. I have to say that it works. I've owned a couple of coffee makers that brew individual cups of coffee using pods. I have a French press and a pour-over system. It is comparable to using pods since the coffee comes premeasured. The big advantage is that you don't need an expensive coffee-maker to brew this coffee which gives this system a huge advantage since it is less expensive and can be used anywhere. But I prefer my French press and pour-over systems because I can use the coffee of my choice in the amount I choose. As for the rest, I opened up four packets, dumped them into my drip coffeemaker, a brewed a half a pot of coffee. It was much less hassle and made good coffee. The bottom line is that the brew system works and the coffee tastes good.
