I thought this jar was more expensive than I thought it should be with less ingredients than most! But after using the sauce for many different recipes, I am willing to pay the extra for it. RAO's is now my "go-to" sauce and I don't have to spend all day making it. Probably too expensive if you need more than one jar for a family meal, but for one or two people, you will have leftovers the next day to help lessen the cost of the meal. I bought it by the case to be sure I had plenty for the year! ### ⭐ They changed the recipe February 2020! Avoid this sub par sauce! *by G***G on March 15, 2020* They changed it! It used to be the best bottled sauce ever, then I ate some in mid February 2020 and it tasted completely different, almost like Ragu. My 14 year old daughter even commented how bad it was. I looked at the jar and it now says “Made with Italian Tomatoes “. I had an older jar and did a side by side comparison and the new version is completely different, it’s now awful. The old jar say “Product of Italy”.
