Does any know the weight restrictions for this bassinet? How many pounds it holds?

15 pounds. It's quite shallow so as soon as they can turn over at all it is no longer safe.

I am due in 8 weeks (13th Sept) I need this shipped to Australia, how long will it take to get here?

FEDEX International will take 4-7daysTnsDeals

Did anyone buy an extra mattress? If so, please share the link because I can't find the exact size.

I bought the Playkids 2 inch foam bassinet mattress 16x32. It fits great.

Does the bassinet come off base to move to another room like a moses basket with a base?

No, it is all one unit. Does have wheels.
