Desert Essence Hand and Body Lotion Almond, 8 ounce

This lotion is so, so, so, so good. It feels moisturizing and leaves my skin soft with a bit of shimmer. The scent actually smells like chai, like real authentic chai. I have been searching for a chai scented lotion for YEARS. This is my holy grail! I am an avid lotion user, and am always searching for one that makes my skin soft, smells good, and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. This lotion is all that and more. I get compliments on the scent all the time. It does smell very clove forward, with vanilla afterwards! The price is also really good for the amount of lotion you’re getting. When I compare it to other lotions sold at bigger stores, it’s around 10 dollars cheaper! Seriously great value. It also fits easily in my purse/backpack when I am on the go. For anyone worried about the ingredients, it really is full of natural ingredients that benefit the skin. I did a ton of research on the ingredients to check if they would possibly irritate my skin, as I have some autoimmune disorders that lotions can impact. But everything (minus fragrance) is really good for the skin. I love this lotion so much, it is really really worth it!

I absolutely love the fragrance and My mother loved the Spicy Vanilla Chai lotion as well!! The texture is very soft helping the skin feel wonderful. It leaves no greasy feeling on my skin and that is a plus. It is worth the money with the dime size lotion I use in my hands.

You won’t regret this purchase! The coconut scent is wonderful - it doesn’t last too long maybe half the day. All my coworkers, when I wear it, compliment me and have also inquired about what it was and where I purchased it. It is not super greasy either. Has saved my hands!!! Wash my hands ALOT with my job and this lotion has just been amazingly wonderful at re-moisturising my skin. I do use it in my whole body and cannot say enough about the scent and the way your skin feels after you have been using it. Very soft. Perfect smell. Won’t regret purchasing this! PS - love that it doesn’t have all the crap that companies use in their lotions. I’m sure that’s why the scent doesn’t last all day but I don’t mind reapplying.

I have very dry skin and I'm always on the hunt for a good moisturizer. I also have super sensitive and allergy prone skin so I'm allergic to most products by the way of scent or contact. This one seems to be a winner for me. It smells wonderful, not overpowering like some "natural" products. I was a little deterred by " "parfum" vs essential oil or naturally deprived, but according to the company the fragrance blend meets the standards of the Natural Products Association. I'm not allergic to it which is a biggie! It's rich and moisturizing but I didn't find it to be too greasy or heavy. It's about midrange for those who need a specific weight description. If you want to lighten it up you can use it right after you get out of the shower when you are still slightly damp. Believe it or not, I've even used it on my dry hairline and it didn't make my hair greasy or goopy. As for EWG it's a 4 with 1 being best and 10 being worst and with limited meaning they are only rating the individual ingredient, not the product and have limited information for it. It's leaping bunny and PETA certified in case you're concerned with that. (Both are important for me). It's slightly pricey but worth it. I noticed some reviews about buying a fake product here. I can't speak to that as I bought mine on Amazon through Whole Foods. I haven't looked as I can't write this and look to see if it's coming directly from the manufacturer or not. When in doubt always go straight to the manufacturer (Desert Essence/Country Life Vitamins LLC) to verify it's them!

This lotion feels good, and a little goes a longer way. The first time I used it, I globbed on way too much and was super greasy. So it's nice to not have to use as much. That being said, it takes a little while to absorb as well; but once it does, my skin feels nice and soft! I'm not crazy about the smell. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's not really coconut-y. It's more of a vague, vanilla-y scent. Very nice and sweet, but not like natural coconut. Overall, this is a nice lotion and probably worth it. I would only suggest you look elsewhere if you really want a super natural coconut scent.

Truly fragrance free, goes on nicely, very moisturizing. Sealed under cap which is great. No sensitive issues,Arrived in good timing. This is my new lotion .

Kind of greasy and did not make my skin feel hydrated, moisturized or soothed. Strangely, it actually made my skin feel drier but with a thin coating of oil/greasiness on top of the dry skin. I even washed my hands right before trying this lotion so that it would seal in the moisture, but it didn't work for some reason. I did not mind the smell of this lotion. Kind of smells mildly of playdough and crayons which to me is pleasant and makes me think of my childhood. I bought the unscented version. But, the reasons I use a lotion are to moisturize and hydrate and make my skin feel better. This lotion failed at that. I wish I could return it for a refund but it looks like it's non-returnable. I do not recommend this lotion, especially since it's not cheap and you can't get your money back if you don't like it.

Smells excellent! You can definitely smell mostly the chai but the vanilla balances it out/tones it down. I bought this to be a warm scent for fall and it's perfect. I also have sensitive skin and I dabble with a few specific brands so I was worried about trying something new, but my skin loves it so far. It sinks into the skin more than Native (Native kinda sets on top and has a certain filminess to it). This one doesn't feel greasy. If you like the EOS or Hempz brands, this is a good choice. It has the scent capacity to match Bath and Body Works but it's more nourishing like EOS.

Produit biologique de grande qualité. Texture non grasse, confortable pour la peau. L'absence de parfum est un atout pour toute la famille (femme, homme, enfants) ou pour mettre un autre parfum. J'apprécie particulièrement les produits Desert Essence.
