Works As Specified. Quality Appears High. Have Been Using for Many Months Without Any Problem.
I wish it had at least one lower mA charging setting...perhaps 100mA to handle really low capacity cells. The reported mAh for both charge and discharge actions tested as reasonably close to values obtained from other lithium-ion cell equipment. Close enough to be dependable. The unit I received easily handles 21700 size cells. With some "flat-top" cells (no top button) I have to interpose a small connector piece between the cell and the unit's positive connector to ensure contact with the positive end of the cell. I use a very small neodymium magnet to make things easy.I also use the setting to keep the display on 100% of the time. I don't like the automatic time out setting.

Versatile and Easy to use
This is a very useful Charger and battery Capacity Tester. Stars:* Fits 21700 to 17360 batteries.* Monitor LED tells when it is done turns from Red to Green no need to touch the device.* Independent Slot operations, setup easy to select.* Bright display clearly tells what and how much is being done.* Doesn't get hot when all bays (slots) are being used.Strike - Will let you know in 6 months.** Would be great if USB can output with a battery inserted in bay ( and monitors mAh draw through discharging external device, this unit would be a 7 Star device.

Very handy and useful device.
So far, the charger does what it intended to do. I tried to put different types of cells under different modes, it works with no problem. The only one thing what bothers me, the sensor on the "mode" button is too sensitive - it reacts even when I do not touch the button, when my finger is about an inch from the button. There is no info in the manual about how to turn on and off the display. Google fixed that problem - just touch and hold the either one"1" through "4" button.

Test mode keeps cycling
Like the features charges well, discharges well but test mode is not working properly. It charges the battery and discharges the battery then charges (like it should) but then it keeps repeating the process and never stops the cycling.Received an note from the mfg. saying it is supposed to charge, discharge and then charge. I understand this but this unit NEVER stops doing it. It is supposed to do it once and then display the total capacity of the battery with the battery being fully charged. This unit just goes, charge, discharge, charge, discharge, charge, discharge, charge, discharge, charge, discharge ... ad infinitumI don't know what happened, other than multiple uses and powering on and off but the test mode now works. Maybe I had a bad couple of cells but in any case the test mode now works as it is should. 1 cycle of charging, then discharging, then charge again. I changed my rating to 4 stars, and if the test mode would have worked correctly out of the box it would be 5 stars.

Great little device, and an absolute must for a flashlight junkie.
This thing is absolutely phenomenal. Not only will it charge and discharge your batteries very quickly and know what level of charge your cell currently has, but it allows you to test for actual cell capacity. It has a decent build quality although maybe not as slick as a Gosli charger, a very large and bright info screen, and more options than most people need>The ability to test the real life capacity of lithium-ion battery cells has been very handy. It allows me to allocate batteries to devices, to recycle 18650s, to revitalize and rescues some dead cells destined for the trash, and it allows me to predict how long a given device will run on a particular battery or set of batteries. So I know how many to take on a camping trip or a job. It’s good to know that I have 72 hours worth of flashlight If I’m going away for three days. Now I‘m not likely to run my life the entire time but it’s good to know for emergencies. If you load up with those crap Ultrafire cells and you only have an hour and a half of light, you would really want to know that.Measuring actual cell capacity is the reason I bought this thing and these days with so many Chinese batteries that are blatantly inflating ( or more accurately just completely fictionalizing ) the numbers, it’s important to know what you’re actually getting. The battery market is always been the wild west whether it’s laptop, cell phone, UPS, or flashlight batteries. This will let me know that my premium cells are genuine and not counterfeit. This unit reportedly charges many different kinds of batteries including AA and AAA nickel metal hydride though I probably will only use it for lithium ion. Although they dropped the 300 mA charge level, moselle should be OK at 500 mA. Each channel is completely independent so you don’t have to charge her test batteries in pairs. In the unit comes with a wide variety of safety features so you don’t overcharge or over drain your batteries. If you just need to charge 18650 or 21700 batteries, this is probably a little much. But if you have a need or want to know actual capacity of the batteries you’re buying and have a use for discharge function of them this is the device for you.I’ve noted that some people find the 4.25 V output charge a little high for 18 650s. For more than that you can go to battery university website. It also has a USB output when plugged but it’s only one amp and I have plenty of USB chargers. I don’t see a case where I would ever actually use that. There are a few cons to this device but it’s not enough for me to know a Star down:•The display lights up for only 15 seconds after you’ve inserted a battery or pressed in the of the buttons but you can make the displays stay on by holding the 1 to 4 button on for two seconds until it beeps. This function is not documented.• It’s unknown of protected 21 700 batteries will fit in this device. If they do it’s going to be a tight fit.• Some find the 4.25 output voltage to high, as this can be detrimental to battery life. unsure whether or not this can be adjusted. There does seem to be hidden undocumented features to this tester.• It’s not the most solid build quality around but it’s typical of most battery chargers.• It has a proprietary plug for power instead of a universal USB-C or a C7 ( boombox) cord.• Some can find the beeping annoying I’m not sure if you can disable that.• it would’ve been handy to have a screen that aggregates all four channel’s data. As it is you can only see what one cell at a time is doing on the screen. Here is a brief spec list:Input voltage: DC 12V/3.0AOutput voltage:DC 4.2V / DC 1.48VOutput currentLithium battery charging current: 500mA*4 /700mA*4/1000mA *4 2000mA *2NiMH battery charging current: 500mA*4/700mA*4 /1000mA*4Rechargeable battery specifications: 26650,21700,18650,18350, 20650,14500, AA, AAA, etc.Discharge current: 250mA / 500mAUSB output: 5V—-1000mATermination method: intelligent voltage monitoringDimensions: 162mm (length) * 100mm (width) * 36mm (height).1. Great Charger for a reasonable price
Fantastic battery charger works with all rechargeable battery cells from AAA to 18650 cells. I love the test feature as well as the drain and charge feature. Does get toasty after use but manageable. I just wish there was a way to set it to a specific charge, ie for long term battery storage.

Great charger
Great charger for anyone with more than 2 or 3 batteries. I use this for my headlamp batteries, my e-cig batteries, and my small rechargeables. Good product, lots of options. It even tells you how much your batteries store (whether their storage power matches the label or not).

You get what you pay for...it works, but the quality is pretty poor
I'd recommend an XTAR VP4+ over this charger every day of the year. Of course that would cost you almost double too. It will test battery capacity, but its not very good.
