I personally have never heard a DAC sound any better than the blue in anything that was meant to be used with a phone. If you can afford the cobalt, get it. If you can't afford the cobalt, then the red is also good. Problem is, it now will only send audio to the right side of my car. I tried other cables and it's definitely this device. My Dragonfly red still works to both sides of the car.
