Incomplete overview; drywall only—no other wall types
There’s nothing in here about working with other types of walls besides drywall (namely for me, plaster). The bulk of the book is decorated to drywall with a section about molding/trim after that. Overall, book content is superficial—good for getting oriented only, but you’ll probably still need specific project books. Book should be called “Brief Overview Guide to Drywall & Molding”.

This looks like an updated version of the 2009 "Black & Decker Working with Drywall" book.Upon initial viewing, the sound proofing section appears to be slightly paraphrased, with better organization throughout the book.

This is "the complete guide!"
A ton of info, here. Clear and concise. Trim work in particular has always intimidated me - the few projects I've done were chock full o' frustration! This book has given me a little bit more confidence to try again.
