Its silicone. Pull on it to stretch it a little bit wider to pull over the bottle opening. Pretty easy. It's the same technique to replace the tops on Nalgene bottles.

Fits in Nissan Rouge 2015 cup holder?

If your cup holder is 3 inch across the bottom, it should fit. I have a a buick and mazda and it works in both. HOWEVER, this seller is providing junk that is not an insulated bottle. Get the identical looking product from Sendestar. I tried this seller twice and got garbage both times.

The straw is 2” too short for the bottle, so the water in the bottom of the bottle is impossible to drink. Is it possible to get a longer straw?
