Great buy
I previously had an emg active preamp and emg active pickups. I kept the preamp and use it with these pickups. These things sound awesome. They blow emg out of the water with clarity and tone. I get more out of these with the preamp than I ever did the emg pickups

The pickups are awesome. They are a major improvement over the weak Squire ones. Well worth the money. I will be getting a set for my jazz bass.
