I've used a countless number of these when I worked as an electrician, but I moved a couple of states away and bought a house but I couldn't find these at the big box home improvement stores or even at the local professional building supply businesses. Amazon of course sells them. I didn't want the after siding siding block because I don't like the way they look, with these all you have to do is remove the outside edges, trace an outline on the siding, cut the siding, screw it to the cut out area, and caulk around and inside the unit. Once you hang the light fixture on it, it looks like the siding block was originally installed when the house was built, which I like a lot.

I haven't installed one of these before but was simple and straightforward. The plastic is harder than I thought it would be, definitely a good thing as it should last a while.

Nice heavy duty quality though it is difficult to run caulk along the outside seam as recommended in documentation when it is installed on vinyl siding. Still recommend.

This is a great product. Made from sturdy plastic, face place fits snuggly and the punchouts come out easily. I used it to mount a new Ring Cam Spotlight. I'd highly recommend this.

These look great, very sturdy. I would buy again. I used them for mounting coach lights, and soffit flood lights. There were several sets of holes for different mounting configurations. Quality looked a little rough, but they are sturdy... You never notice once a fixture is mounted to it.

Looks great. Can be mounted before or after siding is installed. Can be mounted horizontal or vertical. Easy to install.

I needed to replace the cover for an outlet on my home that was built in 2005 and could not find this product locally. After a search of the part number on the back of the cover I found it on Amazon. I was very please to find that I did not have to pull off siding to replace this outlet cover because it fit perfectly.

Ideal item if you Are trying to add a new outlet for your home, and want something to easily be installed without damaging your siding
