My three year old loves this book and talks about her good bacteria vs bad bacteria all the time when she washes her hands. Cute illustrations with accurate kid-friendly info.

For all baby showers I get invited to, this is the book I always give!! Hardcover, durable, and so cute!

I like how this book explains bacteria and antibiotics in a way young kids can understand. My daughter, Allure Wilson, I enjoyed the pictures and said she liked learning how germs work and how medicine helps. A helpful starter science book. — A.W.

My 4 year old daughter now commonly refers to ‘feeding my microbiome’ when she eats, and will say ‘I think I have a Fungi’ when she’s not feeling well. Cara and Jon’s thoughtful writing and illustrations make a complex topic approachable to children without watering it down or introducing inaccuracies - they respect a child’s intelligence and create opportunities to talk with your children about what a ‘microbiome’ really is. They go beyond ‘when you’re sick, you have a germ’ and have convinced my daughter (for the time being) that she wants to be a scientist too. Well done!

Clever book for little ones with great info on bacteria and antibiotics. My son loves it.
