I am usually a 2 and this dress was super "binding" throughout. I could of gotten away with it for the most part BUT it smooshed my boobs in so much that it had to immediately go bye bye! So if you are into your breasts looking like flapjacks order the usual size (I have a minimal rear-side so I assume it would also give you a degree of "pancake bum" if that is the more endowed region of your body), otherwise size up. That said, other than the sizing issue it was beautiful. The print is vibrant, the fishtail flares perfectly. It hit me right below the knee (I stand at 5'6" tall) It does have a bit of stretch but I'd be better off with a medium... which I ordered last night!
