Enhances Your Dash Cam Experience
Purchasing a dash cam is a wise decision for many drivers, but dealing with screen reflections can be a nuisance. And this polarising filter really helps: it significantly reduces reflections, improving the overall quality of your recordings. The filter is incredibly easy to fit – it simply pops onto the camera lens. Just make sure the Garmin logo is the right way round when attaching it. Once fitted, you'll immediately notice the difference, with far fewer reflections from the inside of your car. While the dash cam isn't entirely useless without it, the glare and reflections can be bothersome. If there's one criticism, it's that the dash cam should come with the polarising filter as standard. Some of Garmin's rivals include a polarising filter with their products, and it would be an excellent addition to the Garmin package. I purchased this polarising filter alongside the Garmin Mini 2 Dash Cam and found that it indeed improved image quality, especially when driving in direct sunlight. While the price could be slightly more competitive, the benefits it offers make it well worth the investment.

Don't buy Garmin 57 without it.......
If you are buy the Garmin 57 please add this to ya basket I'm not saying dashcam is useless without it but the glare and the reflection are a pain. If I have one criticism is the dashcam cam should come with this out of the box it's so called rivals have a polerizing filter fitted as standard and so should the garmin.. Come on Garmin you have made a great dashcam with a App that actually works great with no issues don't fail at the last fence.....

The missing component of the camera
A polarising filter will remove unwanted sparkles and dazzles on an image from light reflections. On a hand held camera an instinctive corrective movement will remove them but clearly that's not an option on a car mounted camera, so a permanently fitted polarising filter is a good preventative solution. There's no guarantee it's 100% effective in all situations but it's better than naught. This filter clipped on firmly onto the camera quite easily. Impossible to check its efficacy without a lot of careful work, so fingers crossed. Bit expensive though.

Really worth having this.
It does make a difference with less glare from street lights other car headlights and your dash board/windscreen when the sun is out! It just fits on the front of the camera very easily. I think it should come as standard with the dash cam if I’m honest as it does make a difference to the recordings. I’ve recommended my son gets one for his in his car. I think it is pricey for what it is but I did get it on offer so that helped! I would definitely recommend it.

Overpriced but does the job
Bought this to fit to a Garmin mini dash cam to help with screen reflections and for that purpose it does a very good job. Super easy to fit, just pops on to the camera lens, just make sure you you have the Garmin logo the right way round. My only gripe with this is value for money, at most it should only cost £5.99 not £19.99 which is a real rip off but if you don't want annoying glare on your recorded video then you have not got much choice.

It does fit the FRONT lens Tandem with a couple of caveats
It is nicely made and works as described as in the other reviews. I ordered this on a whim, taking a chance because it wasn't listed as fitting the Tandem. But it does fit as described in the other reviews. A couple of caveats-It does cause some slight vignetting. To me, that isn't a deal breaker as the reduction in windshield glare is well worth the trade. It also MAY rub the front of the Tandem lens at its curvature. So I don't push it fully it down. This might be adding to the vignetting I noticed. It still is a secure friction fit on my Tandem. As others have mentioned, night vision isn't as good because it also reduces light to the sensor, I have adjusted the exposure slightly to compensate.
