Muc-Off Tubeless Rim Tape, 10m Roll with Patches, 21mm

I've use over a half dozen tubeless tapes over the years. Most of them tend to have one or more of the following issues: 1. Rips too easily 2. Too rigid 3. Doesn't contour to the rim bed well. 4. Poor adhesion This tape has NONE of the above issues. 1. This tape does not tear at all while pulling it tight. 2. While this isn't super stretchy, it gives just enough to make installation easier. 3. As long as you smooth the tape into the contours of the rim bed as you go along, you'll have no issues getting a solid installation. 4. You can get the edge of this tape back up if needed, but once it's installed it stays in place without issue. A couple more notes: 1. If you want to use this tape with tubes and clinchers (sometimes tubeless tape works best with some newer rims), you'll need to go around twice. While this tape can handle higher pressure than many tubeless tapes, you'll need the second layer if you're going to run 100+ psi. 2. Go slow when you install this tape and make sure you're getting all the air bubbles out as you go along. Overall: In my experience, this is by far the best tubeless tape for mountain and road applications. Highly recommended 5 stars Cheers!

I've been using Stan's tape for years. I needed a role of tape fast and I could get this 30mm tape next day. After using it, I'm switching going forward. It sticks a little bit better. The transparent character is a lot easier for me to see how the wrap is going. It responds to the heat gun better when trying to get into a deep channel in the wheel. I think the stickers are a bit of a gimmick because they don't seal well at all by themselves. The heat gun took care of that though.

Works great. Make sure you have a clean residue-frew surface. I cleaned with isopropyl alcohol.

Very good quality. It stretches well and sticks incredibly well—so much so that it's a nightmare to remove later. But that's fine; that's its job, and that's the great thing about this tape: it's reliable. With a little patience, you can easily apply it in just a few minutes. I like how it looks, even though we don't really see it much... :P It has the right thickness to be easy to apply and durable. The seal is perfect, even after being on the rim for several years. Great purchase; it's a bit more expensive than others, but it's worth it.

All these years and I had never tried Muc-Off tape, despite having the valve stems on several bikes. Hands down, this is the best tubless tape I have used. I'll never go back to Stan's, Whiskey parts or the blue OEM tape ever again. Muc-Off has just the right amount of stretch where Stan's will break if you pull that hard. The adhesion is awesome and it's so easy to get flat adhesion with no air bubbles. By 'no air bubbles' I mean absolutely none. It's a real chore, if nearly impossible, to do that consistently with other brands. Pro tip: Don't use isopropyl at first to clean the old adhesive residue from the rim bed. Use Naptha which lifts every thing immediately with barely any scrubbing and without the slime of goo-gone. Naptha is very safe and can be used to clean wood, like OG Brazilian rosewood fretboards on heirloom vintage Fender guitars. You can also fill your Zippo with it. Clean burning. After the Naptha, use a final go-round with isopropyl to ensure a dry, residue-free surface. If your tape doesn't stick after that, you're doing it wrong. I bought the 21mm tape for a set of HED Belgium Plus rims. Inner width is 21mm and this tape is 100% perfect when pushed into the inner channel. It spans the entire inner rim width. I'm not a fan of buying 4mm-5mm oversized tape. I've had to redo wheels for several friends who made that mistake. If the tape is too wide, it goes up onto the side where the bead sits and ends up being pushed away or torn when you remove a tire. I will buy Muc-Off for my MTB's next. Can't wait to get that air bubbled Stan's out for good.

I have used the muc off rim tape and the stans flow one. Muc off is far better in my opinion. It is very sticky. Goes on pretty easy. Can usually reapply it if you messed up placing it, without too much loss of adhesiveness. This is the best one I have found so far.

It fixed my leaky valve stem, which had been annoying me for a while. I wish I had installed this earlier. It was my first time installing valve tape and the install was easy. Removing the tire is probably the hardest part.

Very good tape, kinda pricey but easy install and after 500 miles no air leaks or any problems.

lies sich nicht wirklich gut kleben und hat nicht gut gehaftet. Da habe ich von Muc-Off etwas mehr erwartet.

Nastro per cerchio ruota della muc-off, garanzia di qualità. Utilizzo una bici con camere d'aria. Ho bucato due volte perché il paranippli non rimaneva più nella sua posizione. Sono andato alla decathlon e ho preso un paranippli normale ed uno adesivo. Il primo non era della larghezza giusta e quello adesivo si è mosso. Così stufo di dover cercare un paranippli della larghezza giusta per il mio cerchione ho preso questo prodotto, ho nastrato il cerchio e rimesso la camera d'aria per curiosità per vedere se si bucasse(altrimenti sarei passato al tubless). Non ho più bucato la camera.
