Great Product!
Recommend this 1000 percent!!!! Bought this to save a $150 pair of Joe’s Jeans ( that I was considering throwing away because they turned grey after washing them several times in the washing machine) and this product did the job ! Jeans are looking brand new with no signs of dyeing.

Inconvenient but works wonders
Photo: My old black shirts were starting become this gross heather-grey shirt. If I wanted grey shirts I wouldn't've bought black shirts to begin with! After dying them, they become a brilliant black, about as black as my speaker, hat, jacket, other black items around the house. In person the black is even more noticeable, so I'm pleased. (that shirt on the left I forgot to dye lol, it was in the hamper)So I pulled out a plastic tub and filled it with hottest tap water (55 C), and let 5 shirts per batch soak in that with a tsp of dish soap and half a bottle of the dye for an hour(max time listed on instructions). I turned the shirts over every 10 mins. I also left a plastic tub lid on so it kept temp high. Did the post care instructions and they turned out pretty good! I'll defo be using this again in a few years when they start fading again! It's inconvenient to do it in a plastic tub, so next time I'll be doing it the actual bath tub, and I'll process all my shirts at once. The instructions say maximum of 2 adult t-shirts per half bottle, but I did 5 and they came out great. But my shirts started grey, so that is a factor. Black t-shirt is my everyday wear, so I want to look good. Cheaper than buying new shirts for sure.

Works well but for a small amount of fabric
Make sure you pay attention to the wieght measurements of what you are dyeing per the instructions, or you will end up with things looking blue. This jet black is in fact blacker than their regular black, but all black pigment is blue to some degree from what I understand so just be aware.you may want to order more than one kit for a large project

Works perfectly!!!
I was feeling so down this morning because I was doing my laundry, and suddenly, my favorite skirt (one I’ve had for over four years) ended up with a nasty chlorine stain. I was devastated, as this skirt is a staple in my wardrobe! Desperate to salvage it, I searched for a dye kit with same-day delivery, and thankfully, I found this one.Even though I read that it might not work on chlorine stains, I decided to give it a shot. To my surprise, it worked perfectly! After following the instructions and letting the dye set, my skirt looked almost brand new in just about an hour. I’m beyond thrilled with the results—no more stain, and my beloved skirt is back to looking great. Highly recommend this for anyone facing a similar laundry disaster!

Love the results!
AMAZING!! I work at a job that I have to wear BLACK jeans. They can't be faded AT ALL. Needless to say, black fades like crazy, plus, I had tossed my other work jeans into the washer and I guess it picked up the bleach from the load before so it made them splotchy. Well, these are the only brand of jeans that fit me perfectly and they cost $40/ pair. Can't afford a new pair right now so I went with RIT dye. It was so easy to use. I mixed half the bottle, salt and dish soap, PER PAIR. I will be using this $10 fix again!! Saved me a bundle by not having to buy two new pairs of jeans to be at dress code. You can see by the photos the results.

Half used?? But it works.
Wish I could give this 5 stars but when I received the bottle seal was already broken?? And the rim was already a little black like it had been used,, I used it anyway and there was REALLY not a whole lot in that bottle. The second bottle (fixative) was sealed but also half full. They DO NOT put the amount of product they’re saying they do bc both bottles did not have a lot in it sealed or not. Anyways, it ended up working pretty well, and the dye is very black, I suggest doing the whole clothing item if your gonna be using because there will be a slight color difference if your not careful (as you can see in the third photo the bottom half looks wet, but it is fresh out of the dryer). Got my bleach stain right out tho !!

Does not work on bleach stains
Did not work on some 100% cotton bleach stained pants. Followed the instructions, which btw were not listed on or in the box, except I just used the entire 8oz bottle rather than the 4oz recommendation. 3 gallons hot water, 1 cup salt, a tablespoon of dish soap, stirring constantly for 30 minutes and then let soak for another 30 stirring occasionally. Used the second solution, full bottle, hot water, soak 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Then rinsed with cold water until the it ran clear. Then washed with a small amount of detergent, in cold water, with an old towel on the gentle cycle… the stain was noticeably darker, but you can still see it.I only went through all this because a replacement pair of work pants was not available in my size. Good news though! I did find some from a different vendor after my failed attempt with these! 🥳
