MyWeigh KD-8000 Digital Food Scale, Stainless Steel

I love the My Weigh KD-8000 scales. It can weigh up to 8000 grams / 17 pounds and you can have confidence that it is highly/brilliantly accurate. It measures weight in 1-gram (or 0.05 ounces) increments so can weigh precise measurements - essential for turning out great baking, and making sauerkraut. I bought this scale based on the recommendation of Holly Howe, a fermentation expert from USA. She rang its praises for accurately measuring salt to get perfect sauerkraut, and I've found this to be the case. The great thing is that this scale has a percentage function so if making sauerkraut, you don't have to calculate what weight 2% of salt equates with in grams. It has a clear and easy-to-read display, with the numbers being large enough to see from a distance. The part that shows the weight is backlit which enhances visibility of the weight. Unique Features Percentage Mode: The My Weigh KD-8000 includes a percentage mode, making it a doddle to multiply quantities for recipes like loaves of bread ,other baked goods, sauerkraut, etc. Operates on mains power and batteries. I highly recommend this fantastically accurate and easy-to-use scale.

Been using these for a few months now, mostly for cakes and cookies. Super accurate, whether you're measuring a little or a lot, decently bright screen and a few different tricks up it's sleeve, which is nice. It is a little more plasticky than I'd like, doesn't feel quite as good as it looks, but aside from that it's fantastic.

These scales are the best. This is my 2nd set had bought them 8 years ago. So I replaced them. The 1st set had got moisture into battery compartment and corrosion happened. But well worth the cost for bakers.

I love these scales as they are so accurate. They aren’t as easy to store as the digital scales but I love them

The item arrived well packaged from the seller, I cant comment on how well they work as I returned them due to the size and how light and flimsy they feel they probably work fine though but not something I Would leave out on the counter. I give full marks to the seller for the prompt refund with no questions asked.

Accurate scales. Well made and easy to clean. I use the tare function every time to add different amounts of ingredients during the course of making the recipe. I highly recommend these scales.
