Horrible chemical smell the plastic was so thin it ripped while trying to put it on the mattress! Ended up throwing it away instead of even trying to return it due to it ripping apart so much

I need to know that before you buy this is that it will tear when you put it on. It is made of extremely flimsy plastic and is incredibly thin. Even further beyond that it is poorly made. You have to maneuver your mattress into this thing as it only has a zipper on one side you have to side it on your mattress like a sock. This is almost impossible to do without tearing the cover. Will it fit your mattress probably, but it go on to tear if you have any animals expect holes to be torn in it. Further if you do purchase this...make sure you trim your nails because long nails will tear this thing apart. I bought 2 because I had bed bugs and planned to double bag my mattress and when installing, but both tore. If take anything away from this review is that you should splurge on a mattress cover that has a top layer separate from the bottom and is thicker. You get what you pay for and this was a waste. Not even duct tape could put this back together again.😭😭😭🙍🏼

Cheap easy to tear. I wouldn't recommend

We put these on all of our beds at our transitional house. It saves in between each client. It’s perfect and the reasonable.

The protector had some pros and cons. Pros are that it fit snuggly on my twin bed, not really over sized, pro depending how you look at it the zipper was on one end of the mattress top or bottom making it easy to slide the mattress in, semi pro the material is a sturdy type of plastic cover didn’t rip while putting on but if advising being gentle to not rip it. Then the cons are the smell was horrible jeez and con is the plastic material I’d like it to be a mix between fabric and plastic more to where it feels stronger and con wish it was quieter but better than the loose old one I had.

Cover ripped within a few weeks of having it. Ordered a new one and same thing happened. Been through two in several week timeframe. Frustrating.

I got this to protect new mattress from stains from kids bottles and cups and it has definitely done the job ,would also be great if you live in an apartment and are worried about unwanted pets traveling to your bed from other apartments if you have this cover your bed will be safe

The DMI Twin XL Zip Mattress Cover is shockingly cheap in every possible way. When I say thin, I mean borderline imaginary. This thing feels like it’s made out of the same material as a grocery store produce bag, maybe thinner. Calling it a “mattress cover” is generous. It offers zero protection, zero durability, and zero confidence that it will survive normal human existence. A child rolling over in bed was enough to rip it open. Not jumping. Not roughhousing. Rolling over. If your mattress experiences gravity, this cover is already in danger. The zipper is flimsy, the fabric stretches like wet paper, and once it tears, that’s it, it doesn’t just rip, it gives up on life. There is no waterproofing worth mentioning, no thickness, no reinforcement. It feels like a disposable item that someone accidentally decided to sell as a permanent product. If you’re trying to protect a mattress from spills, accidents, pets, kids, or literally anything more aggressive than a gentle breeze, do not buy this. It’s super cheap in price and somehow even cheaper in quality. You’d be better off wrapping your mattress in a fitted sheet and hoping for the best. This product should not exist, and the fact that it’s marketed for actual use is almost insulting. Final verdict: Thin, fragile, useless. Avoid at all costs.

Unfortunately, this product was extremely disappointing. It ripped immediately while trying to put it on the mattress, before it was even fully in place. The material is very thin plastic and feels flimsy, with a loud, crinkly sound every time it moves. Definitely not durable or good quality. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Lo usé en un colchón individual con colchoneta y le quedó jmuy bien, es un plástico muy delgado por lo que no hay ruidos al usarlo, es mas bien como una tela, pero ccumple perfecto su función de proteger el colchon contra líquidos. Una exelente relación de calidad-precio.

Not the best type of mattress encasement, I have bought other brands where there is a softer fabric material on the outer layer and makes the protector less like using plastic.
