I recently replaced my outside dryer vent cover with one that permits easy access to the vent pipe. I bought this cleaner brush kit and it works exactly has I had hoped. Combined with my cordless drill operating at low speed, cleaning the entire six foot run was easy and without issues. The extendable shaft has just the right stiffness - flexible enough to navigate curves at offsets, yet stiff enough to avoid floppiness or oscillations. A great value for the money and well made out of appropriate material. Fits the standard four inch duct perfectly. Very inexpensive and a great value. My dryer duct was cleaned out beautifully.

First time I used it and it seemed to leave a lot of the lint behind. When I tried to remove it from the duct the joints caught on the pipe where it made the turn into the long duct that I have going to the outside of the apartment. I had ti run the drill and eventually it came past the bend. Had to do this for each section. Plus when using the drill the sections would not come back apart without using a pair of pliers to turn them loose. Worked great for loosening the stuck lint from the pipe which allowed me to pull a pipe snake through with rags taped to the end to get most of the lint out. Will try it a few more times and see how it does. Had used a long one on a pipe with wet lint clogging the enter pipe and it didn't get much out. Had to use the pipe snake and rags to clear that one and it took 3 passes to get it all out. Each pass with a bigger rag ball on the end.

This works great. I religiously clean out my filter but this is amazing how much of your lint gets stuck into the hose of the dryer. Can go in through the top and from the outside. Did not try it with a drill yet but this got out a lot of lint. I pulled the top filter out of the dryer. Put it on air dry and shove the brush from the outside. With it being on the air dryer it helped blow out the loose lint. Was very surprised how much came out when I did it from the top side of the dryer. Great little tool unscrews the flexible wand for easy storage.

Super easy to use and very effective. This will save me so much money compared to hiring someone.

This thing really works! Unbelievable how much lint I got out from just the dryer. I have another tool that I use, but it is not as long as this one. If it ever cools down, I’ll try it on the outside

Three stars because the bristles brush only had one row of bristles not four as pictured. But it was adequate to do the job. May have even helped in maneuvering inside elbows and bends .

I am not including a photo because it’s exactly as pictured. The white extension rods are 16” each. I got the 15’ model, which was the shortest unit I could find on Amazon. So I got about 11 or 12 extension rods. It’s easy to put together and easy to use with or without a drill. I tried both ways and the drill makes things a little faster. Only use clockwise direction, even when pulling the brush back toward yourself. The dryer vent here was not cleaned since 2015, which is 8-9 yrs ago. It was not as plugged as I thought, but it’s now spotless inside the 4” duct. I wish it came with a small Bag to keep the rods in when not in use.
