there is a door but this is not that sturdy as you would want it to be. There is a regallo metal frame one also which I would highly recommend.

Can i buy extra panels to add? I need like three more. It’s a little too small.

I am not aware that you can do that but it is priced well enough to buy a second one and expand it. I would not do it with a used one because someone could have used it to pen in dogs like I did. You would not want that for a child.

So the description says it fits 192 inches and 144 inches. Which is it?

It is 192" -- or 6 sections of 32" each. You can choose to use one or all 6 as they are detachable from each other and can be adjusted to different angles.

If we want it for a 120 inch wide opening (not playpen) can it be freestanding without mounting to the wall?

It needs to be bent at the joints to be free standing. That will shorten it. Fortunately for us our opening was less than the length of the gate and we found even though we bent it, we had to put the ends on the insides of the walls that formed the opening to make it sturdy.

Great for puppies/dogs

Bought this for our 9 week old German Shepherd puppy. Unfortunately she was big enough to jump out but because it could be opened up we just move it around the house to corral her into safe areas near us and she is perfectly happy. It is very sturdy but easily movable and large enough to block off a whole room for her to be monitored to potty train and keep from destroying the rest of the house. Worth every penny.
