But careful, I once opened it still with water it in and got burnt. **Q: What colour is the lead on the cream kettle ?** A: It is white. You can see images of it in the 'customers photos' section. **Q: What colour is the cord** A: My cord is black as is the plug and the length in case this is of any help is 28 inches. I am unsure whether the cord colour depends on the colour of the kettle but my kettle is the mid grey one.
