Great Carburetor!
Carburetor worked exactly as it should and my 5hp Briggs and Stratten fired right up after installation. Very easy to replace, it fit perfectly and the price is unbeatable.

Works on huskee log splitter with 675 E Briggs and Stratton
Fits perfectly on huskee 22 ton log splitter with the 675 E Briggs and Stratton. Use both gaskets stacked . The primer works I wonโt use the spark plug but literally everything else in the kit works perfectly installed fired on 3rd pull hasnโt ran in a year and splitt a cord of wood immediately

Great replacement with weird manufacturing pieces
I have a 2010 Poulan Pro push mower w/ a Briggs & Stratton 625 series (5 HP) engine; 122T02 model on the engine stamping. The engine slowly started to fluctuate RPM while using over the last few years to the point where it seemed on the verge of stalling and dying but then would pick back up again. I took the filter off and ran the mower with the safety bar wire-tied so I could look into the carb ๐ . Fuel was coming out of the jet just fine, but it was being flooded by fuel leaking from the pilot jet at opening of the carb. Fuel was pooling up and then would get to a certain point and sucked into the engine causing the flood or "stall". Issue just repeated itself. Tried to clean the carb to no avail so ordered this kit. See photos and video. I noticed it wouldn't prime using the new filter backplate and primer bulb. I manually primed it (shot fuel directly into the carb w/o the filter on) and it started and ran great! Then I took the filter plate off AND removed the red primer bulb and pushed through a wire to find there was some stupid little rubber baffle inside the air passage for the primer! WTH?! Reinstalled the primer bulb, gasket, and filter plate back onto the carb and tried to prime it. BAM! Worked! Fuel shot right up through the main jet and it kicked off on the first pull. The little rubber baffle is a separate issue from the plastic "cap" preinstalled in the filter plate. I removed that as soon as I got it based on other comments pointing it out. But that primer baffle blocker is just stupid. $18 and ~4 hours of taking things apart, putting back together, troubleshooting, testing, etc. I guess is still better than a new $### push mower.

Pleasantly surprised.
I had my doubts, considering the low cost. I've used inexpensive after market carburetors on small engines before with mixed results. If you look at the throttle plate in a carburetor like this, compared to an OEM, the fit is pretty sloppy, with visible air gaps around it. The good news is that really doesn't matter on a lawn mower because you aren't running it at a low idle. So I found this carb fit perfectly, and ran fine. They were thoughtful enough to send two gaskets, which are often needed to seal the plastic plate properly. The priming bulb worked well also. In fact, everything included worked well. An awful lot of thought goes into a kit like this. It includes every little thing that you might need. That speaks well for the manufacturer/supplier. Five stars plus.

Did not seem to work as it should.
I pulled my walk behind weed eater out of the garage having a vague memory of it not working a few years ago when I tried it last. I figured that like most small engine issues I've dealt with - it was probably a gummed up carburetor and these days a new one is less than $30 - so I ordered this replacement. Easy fix - I thought. When it arrived I installed it and was confused that the engine did NOT run well with it. I don't know all of the proper terminology so it is hard to describe small engine symptoms... but it sort of stuttered along at an idle and would not run smoothly. I was sure that I had done something wrong on the install - and so took it off - checked everything to make sure that the moving parts moved, put on a different spark plug just in case that was the issue, put the carb back on and started it again. Same issue. It just kind of barely ran. In a last ditch effort, I put the old carb back on to see what it would do - and was surprised that it ran flawlessly. Which of course made me wonder why I didn't test the thing out right away before buying the new carb. But in any case - bottom line is that the carb that was sent to me, even though it looked identical in every way to the original one and appeared to be in good shape, did not work at all. In the end I'm not positive what the issue is - but the evidence points to either a poor quality product or poor quality assurance testing at the factory.

This carburetor kit includes an upgrade of the auto-choke: it works GREAT !
Excellent product: it does the job, it's cheap and very easy to install on a 15-years old Briggs & Stratton engine ! Something is unfortunately not mentioned (and it should because it's actually in favor of the kit): it includes an upgrade of the carburetor original design concerning the auto choke (the one with a thermostat switch located on the exhaust that regulates the air intake) and the tiny red button you see on the filter cover does the same job even better ! In my case it fixed my lawnmower as soon as I installed it: the motor tended to choke after 1 or 2 minutes and I indeed suspected something about the auto-choke. The kit also comes with a small red valve: I haven't figured out what its supposed to do but no worry. I highly recommend this kit !!!
