Can this be used in lip gloss?

Absolutely not. This product smells horrible and has other oils in it that would not be good for the lips. If you would like to use Vitamin E oil in lip gloss, then I highly recommend using pure Vitamin E oil, which is thick.

How is this gluten free when it contains wheat germ oil??

It's not. That's the problem. This company misrepresented the product.

Is this vitamin e oil thick or runny?

It is similar to olive oil in consistency. Thicker than water of course, but not as thick as shampoo.

Can this particular formula be used to preserve salves?

According to multiple websites on Google, vitamin E can and will preserve salves and prevent from becoming rancid.
