I’ve been itching for this story since the end of Come Back for Me and I am so excited that it’s finally here.Declan and Sydney’s second chance story tore my heart out! Declan’s need to protect her, Sydney’s never-ending love. Each and every scene has so much feeling, so much intensity, that you can’t help but keep turning the page, wanting more… needing more.I love second chance romance stories, especially when there is so much angst and heartbreak involved. Declan had a lot to make up for, especially considering he knew what Sydney had gone through and the promises he had made. And his redemption is so beautifully breathtaking.Five stars for this beautiful second chance love story that will have you feeling all the feels.

Absolutely loved this second chance romance! The second book in this series features Declan Underwood and his childhood sweetheart, Sydney. Tragedy broke them apart and years later they find themselves brought back together. This story was amazing from start to finish and fans of Corinne’s other books will delight in seeing some old friends pop up in this novel.

This is a second chance romance that by far passes up anything else I have read before. You can read this as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading Come Back for Me first. You will first meet Declan and Sydney in that book.“I can’t give myself back to you because you’re the sun, stars, and the air I breathe. You’re everything, and I can never be more than the shell I am now.”Declan has taken that top spot in my heart. He is fiercely protective of his family and will do anything for them. The writing in this book is amazing. You will feel you are right in the middle of Sugarloaf with these Arrowood men.I can’t recommend this book enough. If you love a small town, angsty second chance romance.... this is the book for you! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m not sure how Corinne continually does it but she seems to top every book she puts out.“A true second shot will split the first arrow and create a solid path.”Talk about second chances and how this blew it all out of the water. I’m in love with Declan and Sydney.They are both so strong willed and hard headed.They both know of to get under each others skin but know when they’ve gone too far. The love that has never gone away even though they have both tried. Ugh this book is just so perfect! I just couldn’t put it down but didn’t want to finish it because I didn’t want it to end.If second chance love stories is your thing, you need to grab this one ASAP!

Fight for Me by Corinne Michaels is the second book in her Arrowood Brothers series. The long-awaited angst-ridden story of Declan and Sydney. Declan breaks off his relationship with Sydney, denies loving her anymore and leaves Sugarloaf with plans to never return. OH wow! Corinne certainly has a magic way with her words. Her books have a way of completely drawing you in, so much so that everything else around you fades away whilst you are entrenched in her worlds. She has a habit of giving you that epic love that makes your heart soar but breaks your heart along the way.This one is Declan's story and its time for him to return home and face his past and the girl he left behind. Oh I love these two and I honestly want to slap some sense into Declan when it comes to Sydney! His love for her is obvious and he just needs to stop fighting it. Honestly my heart broke for Sydney, all she ever wanted was for Declan to fight for her, to chose her, no mater what her love never wavered for him.It was great to see some familiar names pop up, my favourite was the Doctor ;-)I can't wait to read the other brothers storied but if they are anything like this one, this series could very well break me!Well done Corinne Michaels on another Phenomenal read

This is a book that will take you through a cacophony of raw emotions such as anger, hate, heartache, regret, hope and love. The writing is so powerful , you will just want to read quickly from the beginning to the end to finally discover how the two main characters resolved their difficulties.Declan the eldest of the Arrowood brothers was in love with Sydney Hastings when he was ten and at sixteen they made 'forever promises'. But at twenty two he suddenly left Sugarloaf and Sydney for New York and vowed that he would not return. But why? And what did this mean for Sydney and their relationship.Now, eight years later, on the death of his father Declan is forced to return to Sugarloaf and live on the family's farm for his allotted six months . Because his father has stipulated in his WILL that if they don't, they will all lose their inheritance. But why?And being in Sugarloaf means Declan cannot avoid Sydney and being near each other rakes up feelings which have laid dormant for eight years. Sydney makes it repeatedly clear that she still loves him but he rejects her. So she just walks away. And now he has to demonstrate his love. And if he wants her he will have to do the chasing . This is a second chance love story, so much love in this book as well as so many other emotions. I cried and laughed aloud. Declan and Sydney have been dating since they were children. They grew up together and had an unbreakable bond until an event changes Declan’s life and he makes the choice to leave Sydney and their small farming town behind him. 8 years later and Sydney still loves him and hasn’t moved on. Declan comes back for his nieces birthday and he has that instant pull towards Sydney, he might have left her but he’s always loved her. They start of fighting when they see each other but they both can’t keep their hands of each other. Declan goes back to New York, but when he returns to the farm months later to carry out his 6 months of living on the farm he and Sydney have a lot of unresolved issues.It’s a beautiful love story, and how once you’ve found the love of your life and they’ve got your heart you never get it back, and your never complete without them.

Another great book from this amazing author. I've been looking forward to Fight For Me and I'm really pleased to say it didn't disappoint. It's packed full of strength, hope, romance and is very emotional in parts. It really was great from start to finish. I'm now looking forward to more books in the Arrowood Brothers series.

The arrowood series book number 2 , if you haven't yet read number one what are you waiting for. Defiance, witty, sassy, gorgeous Sydney Hastings and Delcan Arrowood moody, sexy,romantic hard on life . This book should come with a warning it's fun,witty, romantic, two sweethearts and a big massive rollercoaster ride . Warning you will cry and laugh Recommended reading 📚
