The knit fabric is soft and comfortable. The ballerina figure and raised texture at the top and bottom are very nice details and my daughter loves wearing these now in the winter months for her dance class. We ordered "ballerina pink" and it is a bit more of a cooler pink (more blue undertones) — my daughter's dance dress is a more peachy pink color (warmer, yellow undertones), so the two don't quite match, but that's a difference that's only noticeable fairly close up.A quick note on sizing, my daughter is 4 years old and slim, but very tall for her age and has long legs, and there is plenty of length left on these for her to grow into even more. The ballerina is about 5 inches tall (from the top of her hands to her toes), so I would think it a bit challenging to bunch these just right on a younger child or even a baby, so that you can see the ballerina.
