These PROHEAR GEP02 Gel Ear Pads transformed my Howard Leight earmuffs. Fabulous upgrade or replacement for the stock ear pads. Firstly, while I do not have a way to objectively measure the improvement in attenuation these provide over the stock pads, I can say that it at least conforms to eyeglasses or eye protection much better than the stock pads. As such, it is reasonable to expect some improvement in sound attenuation performance. Secondly and probably more notable is the increase in comfort. These are very soft and compliant and the difference here is very noticeable. Other considerations are the perfect fit to the Howard Leight Impact Sport and ease of installation. Highly recommend this. My earpros are over 12 years old, still work very well and this gives it another lease on life but also improves on the original.

The Howard Leights are great for their price but they do get uncomfortable after a couple hours of constant wear. Especially factoring in eye pro or cooler weather. These gel pads are very comfortable and provide a great deal around my ears and glasses without putting unwanted pressure on my temples or pinching my ears. Very easy to install with secure fitment. 100% worth the upgrade. I'm ordering pads for every headset I've got.

These Gel Ear Pads worked fine as a replacement for my original foam pads in my Prohear 036 headset. There was no need to use the sticky adhesive on the gel pads. The gel pads snapped right in the 036 headset. The fit was proper and tight. - The gel pads are more comfortable to wear than even new foam pads. - The blister pack that the gel pads came in may have been opened (unsnapped at some point). However, the gel pads looked new, unused. (I forgot that I have an old Howard Leight headset, as my original goal was only to replace the ear pads in the 036. It turned out that the leftover foam pads worked fine as a replacement in my old Leight headset.)

I'm super pleased with these replacement pads. They are soft and comfortable and create a good seal around the ear. On the farm we have 6 sets of earmuffs - we try to have a set by each piece of machinery. We have several old Bilson's and then a few newer Howard Leight by Honeywell, L3's. I'm pleased to say that these replacement pads fit both of those models. The earmuffs themselves are indestructible - but the ear pads do harden and crack over time. It's so nice to be able to replace the ear pads at a reasonable price and keep using the original earmuffs. They fit right in to the 8 "tabs" in the ear cup and are held securely. These also have a 3M adhesive patch in the ear pads and you can remove the paper "cover" on that if you want them held in more securely. I did not use that - the tabs work just fine for me. 5 Stars for the comfort, the fit, and the value.

Like others have said in reviews. These make the hearing protection so much more comfortable. Moulds to the arms of glasses really well and are very squishy which equals comfort. If there is a gripe to note, it’s terrible putting them on at first in the winter if they are cold. But that’s a minor inconvenience.

I got these for my Impact Sport electronic shooting muffs. Where the stock pads on them always hurt my ears after an hour or so of wear, these turned the earmuffs into something I could wear for multiple hours with no complaints. It's a small investment to make your gear much more pleasant to use.
