Works good bought a second one
Per instructions it said to use it on the port side ram only, so I only ordered one. However, when I received it and had the chance to use it, I saw that I could use it on both rams. I have a 250 SHO. There is a wire but it’s 3-4 inches away. The only way I would hit the wire would be if I wasn’t paying attention and jerked the support out and maybe snag it. So I bought a second one and have one on each ram, I feel it’s equally supported that way.

Name, price, and quality are great!
Perfect for my 2019 Yamaha 250 SHO and they say Yamaha! You actually only need one, so they say, but my OCD told me it would put undo stress on the mounting, support, and motor by supporting only one side. So, I purchased two and they fit just fine without getting in the way of my zerk's. I also have a 225 Banks Mercury and was sold basically the same thing and they came in a pair!

Great product, works as designed.
Works perfectly for my Yamaha F200. I feel much better about trailering now that I have this. A little pricey but the cost of what it's protecting is lot more expensive! Be sure to only use it on the port side though. The starboard side has a grease fitting that could be damaged by this product. Keeps motor tilted at the right angle for travel. Someone else pointed out that it doesn't float so don't forget to remove it before backing into the water.

Bullet shaped and Bullet proof
Designed for installation on the port side hydraulic piston but works like a charm and supports motor without putting pressure on the lower unit like other outboard support locks.

Outdoor lounge chair cover.
Love the cover. Fit nicely and is made of a good quality material. I mainly use it as a dust cover. It is not out in the elements.

Didn't fit my Yamaha outboard motor
I have a 3 ram tilt Yamaha Max SHO 200 and this item does not fit. It is way too long, comes with no instructions, but appears to requiring cutting to length. Even then it doesn't fit, but then it is not returnable. Waste of money.
