I would not suggest buying this spool gun
I purchased this unit, I have a Lincoln 140 easy mig, it connected like it was made for it.However the unit speed control was twitchy, and within micro seconds of striking an arc the wire fuzed to the en of the gun.I replaced the tip and turned up the speed, but immediately same result.I was using solid aluminum wire and argon.I had the gas level at 10 which is high and made no difference.The tip was more than large enough for the wire.Issue is the motor drive built into the unit is not smooth it jumps and momentarily freezes.Using the normal gun with Flux wire of the same size and the internal drive motor the welder works fine.I have since returned the spool gun and am buying the one made by Lincoln.You get what you pay for.

Does not work with the Northstar 140m wire feed backward ...
Does not work with the Northstar 140m wire feed backward instead of forward, it leaks organ because the gun connection is too small for the gad area
