So is this 40” tall?

It's exactly 39 1/2 inches tall

Would this work in a strait line from one wall to another wall without connecting to walls?

This is a very sturdy pen . We have a large dog. He has grown up in it. He knows that’s where he stays ,when he’s playing. It does require having the posts they connect each panel together, to be pushed into the ground for stability. If you for instance set up the pin in a big circle on the garage floor, the dog can just move the entire circle all around the floor or bend every which way. It needs to The ground rods for stability

Where can I buy additional panels? I only need two more.

I reached out to the vendor and they said to look on Amazon 😒

what is the exact measurments of each panel? Length, width, height?

Hi,the each panel's length is 32'',the height is 40''.
