4 year old loves this
Fun and easy to play. My 4 year old granddaughter wanted this so I ordered it. She plays it all the time! My daughter in law said they all play this with her because it’s her favorite game.

Buy it!!
Such a great investment and an adorable game! My 3 year old LOVES this game. She’s the type of kid that wants me to entertain her 24-7, but she loves even playing with it on her own (and I can get a few minute to do something). She also loves playing the actual game too! We have had it for a few weeks already, and this morning the first thing she wanted to do was play the cupcake game. This is one of those games that, if she loses a bunch of pieces, I would gladly replace it!

Cute and fun for many ages!
We got this for our 4 year old for Christmas. She absolutely LOVES it. I couldn't really figure out how it was played based on the description, but I took a chance that princesses + cupcakes = happy daughter. It's even cuter than I imagined. Each cupcake breaks apart into 4 different pieces - the topping, the frosting, the cake, and the wrapper. These 40 pieces are placed in a pile in the middle of the players. Each player draws a ''recipe' card (or multiple cards) that calls for one specific topping, one frosting, one cake, and one wrapper. There is another set of tiles which are placed face down in the middle. These have pictures of either toppings, frosting, cake, wrapper, wild card, clock, or reshuffle. If a player draws one of the tiles that has an ingredient, they then choose that corresponding piece. A wild card lets the player choose any piece they need. Reshuffle turns all of the used tiles face down again so they're back in the draw pile. The clock pieces are placed to the side...if all 4 clock pieces are drawn, "time's up" and the game ends...whoever has completed the most cupcake pieces wins. It sounds complicated, but it's very simple. My 4 year old figured it out completely after playing it once. As a side note, the pieces are quite small and sometimes hard to put together. I found it helps if you twist the frosting into place. The small pieces would definitely be a choking hazard for a younger sibling...so be sure to watch carefully with very little ones. It's a great game of creativity, instruction following, and most importantly fun!! Would highly recommend for anyone 4+...I believe bigger kiddos would enjoy this also. Parents sure do!

Cute "little" game (few minor flaws)
Bought this for my 5 year old daughter! She absolutely loves it. We have only had the game a few weeks and have played it a countless number of times already. All of the pieces come individually packaged (cupcakes, recipe cards, tiles, villain cupcake/cards). All of our pieces were accounted for when the box arrived. The concept of the game is simple and very easy to understand for young kids but with a few complexities sprinkled in the make the game interesting and engaging for all ages! Basically, you choose a recipe card (pink or yellow side) and work to completely build your chosen cupcake. Small tokens are placed face down and drawn at random to show what cupcake piece you can pull. To keep it a little more interesting there are "mix it up" tiles that allow the tiles to be turned back over and mixed up again. There is also a Villain cupcake (with associated tiles) that you have to try to avoid putting together or she might crash the party! The cupcake pieces are VERY cute. The detailing and nods to each princess is absolutely adorable. With that, the cupcake pieces are a lot smaller than I anticipated. They are also made of a soft material (which is unexpected) but make for an appealing item for little ones to possibly swallow. The cupcakes remind me of those cute fancy erasers. Personally, I do wish the product was a little larger size. It would probably make it a little easier for us older eyes to see/differentiate and easier to assemble. We found that although the cupcake pieces fit their respective princess stack, when using the yellow card (princess mix) not all pieces fit within each other. I included a picture to try and reference- in our box, the Moana cupcake liner hole is too small to fit the other princess' icing top peg (picture shows Moana liner, too small, and Cinderella's icing, too large). We also found (not pictured) that Rapunzel's icing hole was not drilled properly and therefore her topper doesn't fit all the way as the other princesses. I assume this is probably an individual product defect as most of the other pieces are interchangeable and fit just fine. (I apologize if this is confusing for someone who hasn't played the game). Basically, we found that with the soft material of the cupcakes, it left more room for discrepancies in assembling the cupcakes. Some pieces slide on easier, a few didn't fit within each other, and most have to be wiggled or twisted to fit on. All pieces fit their respective princess but we found that we had issues when doing the variation side. A little frustrating for little ones, if I say so myself. We definitely have had to assist in a assembling a few of these parts. For a game made for little hands, I feel that this should probably be corrected at some point. If the cupcake assembly is corrected, it's definitely worth the price. Aside from that flaw, the overall quality of the game seems great and we have really loved it. I feel like these pieces will last many rounds, if some of the tiny items aren't misplaced, of course! It's a very adorable and fun concept and I'm pretty sure my daughter would be happy playing with just the themed cupcakes alone! Happy with our purchase. Gave it 4 stars for the discrepancies we have found with our personal game pieces but would give the game itself a 5 star rating, otherwise!

Simple and entertaining game
My kids love this game. It is simple enough for them to play on their own. Great for children who might not be reading yet since it is simple matching items. They love trying to work together to beat the villain.

Enjoyable game for parents to play with their kids!
This game is simple and adorable. My 3.5 year old daughter is obsessed with the little cupcakes and wanted to play this game daily for at least a month after we bought it. It was one of many “quarantine” games we bought and it was by far the favorite. Even as a parent it was an enjoyable game to play. When she’s not playing the game she is carrying the cakes around the house and playing with them on her own. On the negative side, the pieces are SO SMALL. A completed cake is only around an inch and a half tall. As a mother it’s just one more tiny thing to keep track of. Also, because the pieces are rubber they can be tricky to put together and my daughter needs assistance assembling them - depending on her mood this can frustrate her a bit. With all that said, the negative does not outweigh the positive of this game and the joy it brings to my daughter.

Fun game for my daughters who love princess and baking
This game was a lot of fun for my girl who are 5 and 4 years old. They love just playing with the cupcakes and want to see if they can make cupcakes like that for real. The game itself is a little repetitive but entertaining enough. I recommend this product.
