I was doubtful, but am glad I purchased these! These have a mild and easy-to-tolerate taste. They are not crunchy and easy to chew. I am able to chew and digest these, which I am taking for health benefits, easily. These are an easier way for me to get in beef heart in a price-effective manner.

I got these for my dad who has congestive heart failure, but after I tried them, I decided not to bother. The taste is pretty nasty, and I have a VERY open mind about food and will eat just about anything. There's no way my dad would eat this. Bonus though, my dog loves them and they won't go to waste, and I'll probably buy more for him. The company can't help how heart tastes, but yuck.

These are sourced organically, and are in the most ideal form for me to have. For me this is something that I always am considering first and foremost. Now as for its taste, it is not ideal for me. The texture was just not of my taste and I would probably skip out on purchasing this. It’s just a not for me thing. But overall, this is a good way to get beef into your diet.

Wish it came in powder form.

I was taking organ meat capsules and ran out and thought I'd try these. Okay, I know these are human grade and meant for human consumption, but I can't do it. These are great, great sourcing, grass fed, good value for human grade, and so on, but I just can't actually eat them, I guess I am just not an organ meat kind of person. I think it is a combination of the texture of freeze dried with the taste of organ meat that makes it so unpalatable to me. These will not go to waste as I have a dog, three cats, and 11 chickens. As for me getting my organ meat nutrition, I guess I will have to go back to capsules or back to buying the expensive "renegade" blend of ground beef that adds organ meat. Four stars for "like" for being high quality and comparably priced, would have been five stars if my taste buds could have stomached them.
