Great Expansion for Experienced War Chest Players
Another great expansion that adds more variety and keeps War Chest feeling fresh, especially if you enjoy the draft format. The new units are fun and well balanced, but I'd recommend it more for seasoned players who already know the base game well. If you already love War Chest, this is an easy recommendation.

The perfect birthday gift for your favorite board gamer!
I got the original game as a gift for someone I adore and it's one of their favorite games to play so when I heard about the expansion/update, I had to get it! We haven't been able to play yet because of the pandemic but we're both really looking forward to it!

Great Base Game. Disappointing Expansion
War Chest is an awesome game. Everyone I have showed it to has been impressed. The game is really streamlined and elegant. Sadly, this Nobility expansion did not impress me. Adding side cards with special powers increases the luck in the game and makes the game less elegant. I really hope they drop the Royal Decree idea for the next expansion. This one definitely fell flat for us.

Box came severely damaged
Box was severely damaged. It was not able to be saved. I just had to take the contents out and put it in the original game box.
