Beautiful Floral Collages for Coloring - printed on one side of perforated page
The media could not be loaded. Attached is my silent and quick flip through video of the entire book of designs. I hope it is of assistance to you. This is an adult coloring book filled with beautiful arrangements of flower designs. Some of the designs are of a single flower done in a repetitious manner for a lovely effect while others are a collage of various types of flowers. The designs seem to be based both on real and imagined flowers. While the designs are presented in imaginative drawings which include details not found in nature, I noted roses, poinsettias, tulips, and peonies amongst others. The flowers are all drawn in a way to make coloring a real adventure with lots of lovely detail. The designs are all supplied by GMC Designs/Shutterstock, Inc. I don't know if that means there are various designers within those companies or not, but there isn't a specific artist mentioned. There are 24 different designs. I am a gardener and while I focus on vegetables, I also really enjoy growing flowers. The flowers in these designs make me want to grab my colors and create beautiful bouquets. The only thing missing in the end will be a way to plant my creations in my garden! The paper weight is nice and heavy - very much a feeling of premium grade paper. The designs are printed on one side of the page (with the back side blank.) The pages are all micro-perforated so removing them from the book will be easy. The print quality of the design is excellent. Interestingly, some of the designs are printed with a heavy ink tone and a lighter, more subtle tone at the same time. It makes for a lovely effect and will be fun to color. While there are a few elements in a couple design that include intricate and small details, for the most part I will not need my magnifying lamp.I have had some bleed through of color with my markers and gel pens. Not as much as with some other brands but certainly enough that I would either remove the page from the book or put some freezer paper or heavy card stock between the pages while I am working. At the front of the book there is a section on understanding colors. There is a color wheel that explains primary, secondary, and tertiary colors and how they are made. It also explains Warm and Cool colors and gives examples of how they can be used within their family or with a mix (Warm Colors, Cool Colors, Warm Colors with Cool Accent, Cool Colors with Warm Accents, Tints and Shades of Red, Tings and Shades of Blue, Analogous Colors, Complementary Colors, and Split Complementary Colors.) This is a wonderful addition to a coloring book as it gives a lot of information for beginners and gives examples in actual color. At the back of the book, there is an explanation and illustrations of coloring tips and shading. The examples show Colored Pencil, Marker, and Colored Pencil blended with Marker. The written explanation goes into more detail with suggestions as to other types of drawing tools to use. The shading information shows examples of how you can bring out the various elements of your work by what type of pen/pencil you use and how you use them. Both the information on the inside front and inside back page seem to be consistent within the various Leisure Arts books that I have seen so far.I have used Leisure Arts books for many crafts in the past but the five books in the Color Art for Everyone series are the first adult coloring books I have purchased from them. I am very impressed with both the quality and the subject matter. I will certainly be back to purchase more in the future.I have found that coloring helps me empty my mind of my worries and concerns at the end of the day. Having a single point of focus really seems to relieve my mind and help me relax. This particular book is especially lovely and filled with beautiful flowers that will make coloring it a real joy.

What A Wonderful Book!
This has become one of my favorite coloring books. It's full of flowers, some simple and some not so much, but a great variety. I use pencils, gel pens, and both fine point and ultra-fine point markers. The paper in the book is a good weight, but gel pens will bleed through sometimes, and I've not had any markers that didn't bleed through. This is why I cut the back off of an old coloring book to put under my page. I've really gotten to be a fan of Leisure Arts' books, and as soon as I complete more pages in this and other books I'll be getting more!

Color Art! Favorite coloring books!
I like the thick paper the floral prints are on. Will post more when I color more. Nice books at a nice price!I highly recommend Color Art coloring books. They don't over well you, and not to difficult designs. This design I used a mix of:Crayon, gel pens, and markers.

Great quality for a low cost
The pictures in this coloring book are very diverse and beautiful. The different designs truly allow you to express your creativity. I like that each page is a different type of flower with differing amounts of detail. I also like the materials are high quality, seeing as it is composed of cardstock rather than typical sheets of paper. However, depending on the utensil being used, colors may still bleed through. I don't see this as a problem, though, because there are no images on the backs of each page.

Love Leisure Arts!
I am fairly obsessed with coloring right now... it's the only good way to get my artistic creativity out with a 2 year old around! I have 5+ LA coloring books and they are all beautiful. All pages are one sided with thick, high quality paper... I've used crayons, fine point pens, felt markers, regular markers, fine line sharpies, & more, and they all turn out beautifully. The price is great too!

Great
Nice item. Single printed page which I adore. I prefer heavy lined/inked pages and this one only had a few of the fine lined ones. Almost finished with it!
