I repurchase this matcha frequently, it is one of my favorites. I use it in matcha lattes w/ milk. The flavor is strong, good quality. The color is a vibrant green. Tastes so yum! Comes in a bag inside the tin for freshness. Be warned if you are new to matcha: the tin is pretty small but this is standard for matcha powders! All things considered, it is a great matcha for a great price point.

Was hesitant in buying this because the other reviews says it’s a blend and there’s a lot of grainy texture after whisking. I don’t use the whisk but I do a hand shaken cold brew in my water bottle and was not grainy for me. Smooth, aromatic and tastes creamy. Was a good purchase for me. Pricey though, will probably just drive up to my local Asian market next time but convenient for when I can’t.

Perfect for lattes or ceremonial tea with just water.The taste smooth and slightly sweet and a little aromatic which is very delightful. It’s not as grainy as other matchas. I also added it to ice cream to make a matcha affogato, and this one is really good for that.

Some people might say that this matcha was bitter, but that is because they're not preparing it correctly. I COLD WHISK this matcha with cold 2% milk and about 4g of matcha. Whisk well until it's all smooth. Then pour over sweetened milk and ice. If you whisk this matcha with boiling water, it will taste bitter. I also use 160F water sometimes, but the taste isn't as sweet as if you whisked it. Very good price for the amount you get. I've been buying this matcha for 3 yrs.

This is my first time trying this brand of matcha. My cheaper go to is Matcha love and sometimes Jade matcha if it’s on sale. I made a matcha latte with 3/4 cup of hot water, 1/4 cup of warmed whole milk, 10g of honey and 2 g of sifted naoki matcha. The matcha is bright green in color with a mild nutty flavor and mild astringency and bitterness. Nothing overpowering or overwhelming. Very pleasant. The powder blended very well.My cheaper go to matchas have a higher astringent and bitterness profile with a little bit of fishiness thrown in there.**Sifting matcha powder through a fine mesh sieve makes all the difference in taste and blend ability! Try it!!! **So far, I would definitely buy again.

matcha lovers who have experience with matcha don't get this. the flavour profile is almost non-existent it's so light you don't get the depth of the matcha taste.
