This is such a stunning corset! Pictures just don't do the beautiful metallic brocade fabric justice! Its so shiny and beautiful the colors are super bright.As for the size it deff runs small.I am 5’11“ and wear a size 16/18 and a 36DD bust. I ordered a 6x and it fits beautifuly. With a small 1/2gap in the back lacing. So please do take this into account when ordering.The bodice itself is very comfortable, the quality is nice, the lining is heavy and looks as though it will wear well. The busk in the front (the clips) is made of a stiffer but flexible steel and gives great support while still being able to breath and move. The rest of the boning material is flexible but supportive.All in all, a great buy and I'm happy I got it.I even ordered the same style in a different color and pattern because I loved it so much.

I am 5’7 and 215lbs, but I don’t carry much of my weight in my chest or stomach. I am usually a 1x or 2x in Amazon clothes but I bought the 6x brown corset (because of the comments I saw) and it fit great. The construction is amazing, I’m shocked at the quality for what it costs. Just make sure you size up at least 3 sizes (which I know is annoying but I was willing to risk it for the quality) from what you’re used to and it should fit great. The size chart is actually pretty accurate. It’s perfect for putting together a quick renaissance faire outfit!!

This looks great even if to the touch it's obviously costume quality. The "leather accents" are thin and delicate. However, it's a costume piece that I'll be wearing once to a ren-faire. Generally speaking, 5 stars for the costume-quality corset.Sizing is the hardest part for which they lost a star - although I suspect their main problem is that they have several different options using the same sizing chart. I bought the Brown-8110, which has a 6" modesty panel under the ties in the back. Thus, there is a much greater range in measurements for each size than indicated.My measurements are bust: 41" and waist: 38" - so based on the size chart I was somewhere between a 2X (bust fit 40-42) and 5x (waist fit 38-39). Since all the reviews said to size up I went for the 5x. That was way too big in the bust even with the ties pulled completely tight. With the large modesty panel on the back the actual measurements of the 5x were about 46-50 for the bust and 38-43 for the waist (I've attached a photo with me stuffing a pillow in it to get these measurements).I then went and ordered the 2X. With it loosened to the widest setting (and with a bit of a sucking it in) I can fit 37" at the waist. Once latched it's fairly comfy and seems wearable (sufficient structure and strength to shift the fat rolls around). I even used those leather straps details to hold a skirt tie and a rather heavy pouch, and both surprisingly survived that abuse. It was universally agreed that the latches made it MUCH easier to put on versus the typical closures on a corset. It survived a ton of walking and the eating of a turkey leg without issues. I didn't wear it for the long car ride there since it pinched at the waist a bit when sitting.

I ordered two 5XL corsets-One Brown-2801, and one Brown-2802, both in a 5XL (I'm 5'10", 210#, C boobs, and broad shoulders).My first issue is I ordered two different styles, but received two of the same one! Both were Brown-2801That's frustrating enough, I really wanted to try the brown-2802..However, I quickly learned why there's so many mixed reviews about these corsets...Although they were the same style, the difference in quality (and the fit of the shoulder pieces) was ASTOUNDING!Corset A (marked "A" in my pics) fit PERFECTLY!! The shoulder piece was a bit snug when hooked on the loosest hole, but totally OK, I know my shoulders are broad.Corset B fit good as well, but the shoulder piece was HUGE!! I tightened it all the way, and there's still no way to make it look right.Which makes me pretty sad, because now we get to the quality issue....Corset A is put together like cheap Halloween costume-ish crap. The edges of the the straps are frayed (and not in a cool way), and the corset itself feels flimy.Corset B (although the fit is terrible) is visibly sturdier, and looks and feels very high quality, with thicker boning, and all around better materials.Now, which one do I keep, and which to return??? One fits well, but looks like cheap crap. The other is well made, but way too large!Ugh! Between the quality issues, and being sent the wrong product in the first place, I'm beyond frustrated all around! Think I may just return both, and drop a ton of money on a good one at Renn Faire....

I just got this to wear under my work uniform to help support my back on those long days. It helps me with my posture as well. I like the way it laces up the back and has a panel to keep my back fat from squashing out. I got the one that has the princess waist line to help with my belly pooch as well. Definitely go a size (or 2) up as it does run small.

I was pleased to buy the 3X at a lower price than other sizes, even though my size for this brand of corset is usually between XL and 2X (I'm typically M/L in shirts). Therefore, I expected the 3x to be big, and while the actual corset is about the size I thought it would be, the coordinating vest is slightly small, and it's difficult to get on or off.However, there are many positive aspects: all the accessories are removable--the vest, the "belt" piece that goes through the loops in the neck of the vest, the pouch belt and another leather strap. It's great having all that additional leather and hardware to really get a layered, busy steampunk look. But if you didn't want to wear the extra stuff and preferred a more streamlined look, you could definitely do that. Also, the actual corset seems well made, it feels sturdy and supportive and I love the side zipper that makes getting in an out of it much easier.However, the biggest disappointment has to be the exposed seams on the leatherette, because the inside of the leather material is a light/white plastic, so it's noticeable and doesn't look at all like real leather. Unlike the intentional exposed seams on some clothing, these are clearly mistakes, and they cheapen the entire look. I believe another reviewer has close-ups of what I'm referring to. For the item I received, it's the case with nearly every seam that uses the leather material. The faux leather also wrinkles easily.I had to remove a star for the odd too big/too small fit disparity between the corset and vest, plus the ugly exposed edges on the leatherette details. However, I would still recommend this corset due to the price, the actual corset's sturdiness, the number of of pieces included, and the fact that you can customize your look by wearing none, some, or all of the accessories.--edited to add--Every part made of the fake leather has completely disintegrated; it is sticky to the touch and crumbled under the slightest friction. It creates a disgusting leather-ish dust that gets all over other items stored near it. Do not recommend.

I wanted to find an awesome steampunk corset to wear under my dress for a night out with my husband. He didn’t know I had ordered it and definitely had no idea I was wearing it.My dress has a center zipper from top to bottom so when we got back home to the bedroom, I shocked him when I stood up during an intense make out session and watched with amazement while I unzipped my dress.I’ll never forget the look on his face when he saw me in a corset, thigh highs and a garter belt. He wasn’t controllable after seeing me like that.I love this corset for many reasons, the lace up back comes with super long laces so you can take it out as much as you need (I’m a size 20 with big twins), and it smoothes out the rolls and gives you a beautiful physique in a little black dress.I especially loved how you can keep the laces tied in place with no need to untie them again because the latches on the front open and close - allowing you to remove this corset from the front. So awesome!The only bummer was it kept sliding down a little bit on me and I had to pull it up a couple of times. I’m assuming because this was my first time wearing this one it stretched out a bit throughout the evening.To my fellow plus size ladies - YOU MUST HAVE THIS CORSET in your collection. So beautiful, sexy and fun - you won’t regret it!

Unfortunately this is not good quality. It looks cool but the zipper is poor at best.My daughter wanted to wear it for Halloween today at school and the zipper gave out when she tried it on. Ruined her entire day.
