**Q: Do girls spontaneously explode if they play with these toys? I’m looking for toys for my dinosaur-loving daughter but the description says for boys.**
A: No, your daughter will not spontaneously explode when playing with these toys. LOL! She will love it!

**Q: does book require batteries and if so what size**
A: It comes with batteries ready to use. I bought for my 3 year old Great Granddaughter 9/21/19 and she can now identify ten dinos by name and sight by 11/2/19. The audio identifying the dinos is clear and easily understood.  It has a battery compartment to change tiny battery when needed. The dinos do stand all but one. The book cover is prone to bending from ??. But all in all great. I would definitely buy this again for mine or someone else.
