It made me really since I didn't double-check it before I gifted it to my friend who was moving. I was really upset about the situation. I put a low rating (2-3 stars).The seller saw it and helped me out. They said to try to "make sure it was plugged tightly" and if still didn't work then they would send me a replacement. I told my friend to make sure it was plugged in tightly. IT WORKED! She basically had to hammer the ice cream into the base and it lit up (But in all fairness, she didn't want to break the ice cream cone by smashing it too hard to get it into the base)! YAY!
