Philips 345B1C - 34 inch Curved WQHD Monitor, 100Hz, 4ms, VA, Speakers, Height Adjust, Power Sensor, USB Hub (3440 x 1440 WQHD, 300 cd/m², HDMI/DP/USB-B/USB 3.2)

Ok, so I've had this about a month now, so feel qualified to write a review. I'm a bit of a stickler for monitors and basically, its a bargain. I'm using it for work. Screen is huge, the curve makes a real difference, its bright, sharp and clear, I'll happily have three or four windows open side by side, all easily readable. This screen has a number of features that are unique. You can't get, as far as I know, 1440 resolution + 34" + curved + height adjustable anywhere near this price point right now. The USB hub is a bonus. Its a lovely screen. No, its not a gaming screen, and speakers are rubbish, but does anyone buys a huge screen for the speakers? Seriously considering a second one.

The first thing I noticed about this monitor is how heavy the box was. A significant amount of the weight is in just the stand - it's a piece of engineering in its own right - solidly built and attractively designed with a good adjustment range - a nice piece of design. The monitor itself is a joy to use - good colour range, low glare and easy on the eye. It's used for business work, not gaming so I can't comment about its gaming credentials. Whilst certainly not the cheapest, good value for money in our opinion. One thing - in common with nearly all other rmonitors there is no remote control, but fortunately the source buttons are easily accessible on the bottom bezel (much easier to access than the Samsung monitors, which have a joystick-style control *behind* the monitor).

Good quality build, without a doubt. And like most things Philips does, it's practical and functional. The USB 3.0 hub on the left side with a powered port come in handy to get rid of cable spaghetti. Shame it's not a fast charging usb port. Otherwise, it's a great productivity screen. 100Hz also make it slightly easy on the eyes, and you can game on it too. I read how the speakers were good, but they're not. Really. My biggest gripe is the slight shimmer in the bottom-right corner that remains for a few minutes after you switch on the device. Quite distracting and I'm always thinking I'll have to return the panel. An additional gripe is the fact that, despite advertised, mine did not come with a USB 3.0 A-male to B-male cable. I just couldn't be bothered after setting it up so I attached a USB 2.0 A-to-B I had lying around, since the purpose was to connect keyboard, mouse. All in all it's the most affordable and quality 3440x1440 monitor on the market.

Works flawlessly with my old Mac tower, great resolution, thought the curved screen might be weird but it's fantastic, especially when using Logic on the Mac. I don't do gaming so can't comment on how good it is for that. For me the resolution, colours, build quality and low blue eye safety feature all make this a fantastic buy. Viewing adjustment up/down/angle is very good and the stand is solid. Very pleased.

I will preface this with the fact I did in the end return this. For me I just found the contrast to be really poor. It's not surprising given the cost I suppose but I just hoped for more especially when editing photos of videos. It's nice and big though with a lovely curve to the screen. But just not quite the quality you would need for professional work.

I have been using a dual monitor setup for work using two old monitors. i purchased this as a replacment for the two and have to say although it has only been a week the product is excellent. Screen feels sturdy, Plugged into my work laptop and straight away the laptop defaulted to the full resolution(only 60HZ refresh even using display port). i am able to have six windows open at a time. Text is sharp and easy to read. Thought it would take time to get used to the curve but as i had my two previous monitors slightly angled so it was easy to adjust. Lastly, the fact that this monitor has height adjustment, swivels and tilts means you can get the perfect viewing position.

The monitor worked fine for a couple of months until a large dark band appeared running from top to bottom in the middle section of the screen. We contacted Philips and sent some pictures of the screen. The Company wasn't interested and blamed us for the fault. It's a nice screen as long as you don't have any issues with it, but mine has gone in the bin.

Fantastic value for money, easy to assemble and setup and has made working on two documents at the same time very easy. If need to see a wide excel sheet all at once it is perfect. Crispy and sharp display for general office tasks, may not be so good for gaming and intensive graphics.

No soy expertos en monitores de gran formato para gaming, y demas. Pero para mi un monitor como este de 34 pulgadas curvo es una autentica maravilla. Angulos de vision, gran espacio de trabajo. Buena compra!

Pas de prise pour un usb type C, sinon rien à dire !

Geweldig scherp, groot en multischerm en een mooie aanbieding. veel beter dan 2 losse schermen met slepen. Er zit ook nog aardig geluid in maar dat staat bij mij uit ivm soundbar

PRO: - Luminosità : E' luminoso, nitido, immagine molto chiara e ben definita. - Ergonomia : Il monitor è molto grande. Un Ultrawide da 34" curvo che arriva fino a 86cm. Sembra decisamente più grande di un 34". Ha la possibilità di ruotare (orizzontale), inclinarsi e scorrere in verticale sul braccio. - Uscite video/audio : E' un vero e proprio hub, ha un sacco di uscite video e audio. L'audio (incorporato) è molto forte (se non siete fissati con l'audio cristallino da soundbar fa per voi, è comunque ottimo). - Buona quantità di opzioni di configurazione : Ha svariate configurazioni video per permettervi di selezionare l'immagine e la tonalità che più vi piace. CONTRO: - Alimentazione : Preso per una postazione full remote da casa. Non ho riscontrato grandi rincari nelle bollette da quando l'ho acquistato ma è giusto per ricordarvi che è un classe G. - Peso : E' bello pesante. Ad aumentare notevolmente il peso ci si mette la base (in acciaio) che non gli permettono di stare su superfici fragili. CONTRO (ma il realtà pro): - Se è la prima volta che acquistate un ultrawide di queste dimensioni difficilmente tornerete indietro ad altri competitor che offrono schermi più piccoli. - Uscita USB-C mancante : Ehh già, il prodotto non presenta uscite video di tipo C. Ciò vi costringe (nel caso siate users di macbook PRO 13" o < 2020) di acquistare a parte un cavo USB-C - Display Port. CONCLUSIONI: E' la prima volta che acquisto un monitor ultrawide, soprattutto di queste dimensioni. Dopo mesi di utilizzo intenso posso dire senza ombra di dubbio che non tornerei mai indietro. Immagine nitida, risoluzione ottima, refresh rate valido (non sono un gamer, 100hz mi bastano). L'audio incorporato mi ha permesso di risparmiare per l'acquisto di altre periferiche tipo soundbar (lo so, la qualità non è equiparabile ma non sono audiofilo). In generale mi ritengo pienamente soddisfatto e mi permetto di consigliarlo a lavoratori nel digitale non troppo esigenti (100hz - 2k - 3440x1440) ma che sanno di avere tra le mani un monitor molto valido. Pecca forse il peso della base del monitor ma è anche un suo punto forte, mi permette di ruotarlo (orizzontalmente) e la curvatura è ottima. A fine giornata non sento di avere gli occhi stanchi e questo vale il prezzo dell'acquisto (349€ al 17/01).

Ayant acheté un écran gamer incurvé à coté, de même taille (LG ultragear), je peux dire que je ne suis pas déçu de mon achat. - Qualité au top - Resolution QHD - Rafraichissement 100hz - pléthore de connecteurs ..et la courbature de l'écran est plus prononçée que sur mon autre écran gaming (incurvé lui aussi) Entre les deux, je commence limite à préférer ce Philips !
