Ok so I wanted to write this review being that after reading all the previous reviews before spending this sort of money on this item I was slightly concerned to say the least for the quality of this item however not only did it arrive extremely well packaged and protected the quality is absolutely perfect and does not look cheap with zero issues - including the pulling off of the little bit of tape securing the CD holder. The sound is very good and very deep and not tinny at all and it also charges the new style phones perfectly well without problem. All I did was plug it in and it found its own time I'm and was easy to use. Unfortunately the photo does not show the clarity of the LCD display but there is no issues with that either. Either a lucky batch or the usual quality but I am pleased after the amount of money as it was pricier than most but definitely worth it. It is a largish item so make sure you have the space. That would be the only thing is if it could be made a little bit smaller 3/4 of the size would be left imposing in the particular space I've had to put it in in. But everyone is different.

Very quick to set up. Excellent DAB radio, no crackles or dropouts as I've had from other radios in this room. Bought as I needed a DAB alarm radio, with CD. Alarm functions excellent. Great sound, with booming bass if you want. Plays rock maybe a touch too bassy. Nice neat little remote.Bit big for bedside table, but works well on top of a cabinet. RF field for recharge is a bit weak and won't charge my phone when it's in its case (other chargers do).Somewhat confusing when on alarm and you mute. After a few minutes on mute, unit seems to go to sleep, and getting it back ends up with power down/power up.Not tried as a BT speaker.

Pleased with the sound and functions but please dont bother if youve got poor eyesight. The remote is terrible, tiny size, tiny buttons.

Nice looking, and fits well with my furnishings. Took a little time to understand the operation of the unit with the remote but got there with it. I was a little disappointed with the sound quality to begin with as the standard equalization made for quite a dull and muffled sound in all settings. I found that there was a user adjustment that allowed adjustment of treble and bass and now much happier with the sound reproduction. DAB and FM radio work well and so does Bluetooth no problem connections. Handy USB in and USB charging point not sure about the wirless charging on top as have no compatible device

While the player has great sound quality and many useful features, the CD player is lacking and the build quality leaves a lot to be desired. I have bought many CDs to listen to, and while this player has little to no issues playing the majority of them, I have noticed skipping in a few CDs and even some that are unreadable. The issue is:-The CDs are all brand new-The CDs all work without issue on otherplayers (as I have had many other playersavailable to test them on)-The CDs have no smudges or scratchesThis left me believing it had to be a fault with the laser, but good look fixing that as the whole unit is glued together and wrapped with a fake wood vinyl with only a small access point in the rear. The access point is large enough to just about wipe the laser diode with a cotton bud, but thats the extent of it. Cleaning the diode this way solved none of my issues so all i can believe now is that the laser diode needs re-alligning, but unless i want to hack away at the unit, that is impossible.After thinking about what to do, i decided to contact customer support about the issue and they offered a refund but only if i sent the unit back through amazon, however, by the time i found the fault, the return window had already been closed for about a week. At least a partial refund could be issued.Also, dont even consider buying it to listen to burned CDs. I must admit, i dont have the best knowledge on how to do it, but even after downloading audio as WAV at 44,100Hz and 16bit files, burning the CD at the slowest setting, closing all the tabs on my laptop and ending all tasks i could except for the single app i was using to burn the CD (WMP); and using M3U file formatting, the CD player still struggles reading the burned CD and skips more times than I would like to admit. However, again, that was all done after a quick look up on what is recommended so if at all possible, tips on how to better burn CDs would be appreciated.Overall, while the sound is great, dont rely on build quality and dont purchase with the idea of using it primarily as a CD player. It does have bluetooth, aux in, FM, DAB and USB in with an Alarm Clock function allowing for two alarms to be set to which it can play the radio station you last listened to, USB input device or CDs. I'm only so harsh with the rating due to the poor support the company provided.

The player looks very good and its sound quality very acceptable. However the ‘what program am I on’ panel is very small, it cannot be read at 3ft. It cannot easily be read at 18inches. Not helpful if you want to select a program of music from CDs. The remote is very small and easily lost.All this is a great shame as the player itself has everything most would want at a very good price. I just wish I could see it.
