Has helped my child with history and the Regents exam

Daughter studies these books and takes as many practice tests as she can. She's done very well on all the Regents exams. These books are very helpful.

The Barron' series is the grandaddy of regent review books. It gives you five complete regents. Most important, it goes over every answer to every question, meaning, it not only explains the correct answer, but it also explains why the other 3 choices were wrong. It also reviews both the thematic essays and the DBQ questions and essays.review five regents and you are all set!

I'm very bad in history and to top it off I had the worst U.S History teacher my freshman year. She was the worst history teacher ever. No one ever did her work and she gave out easy grades. She barley taught anything and I was really worried that I was going to fail the regents. So a week before the regents I went and bought this book. I studied a lot of the questions and reviewed the ones that I didn't understand too well. One week wasn't enough for me to learn everything, but I learned a lot. I ended up getting an 80 on the regents. Although it is the lowest out of all the regents I've taken, I was very happy I passed! Definatly recommend this book.

You can't go wrong using Barron's review books. I purchased this to use as a social studies teacher. I bought my first Barron's book more than 50 years ago as a student!

this gives you a general synopsis of all you're going to need with practice, questions, and explanations to answers - I am a teacher and found it so very useful - GET ONE - YOU'D BE CRAZY NOT TO!

Book came in time for my son's Regents exams he had to take (this was number two of three). He passed them all. He attributed the Barron's book to helping him a great deal.
