Very pleased with this so far. The lid operates easily and opens fully so that it’s easy to see the cup markers (in red plastic) inside. Similarly, it’s easy to see how full the kettle is from the outside. When it’s on there’s a blue light for the water. It boils quickly and the noise level is acceptable. The appearance is simple and clean. Some report that the kettle wobbles but we’ve not found this. It has a free extra year’s warranty. Worth buying.

Excellent kettle and delivered within 24 hours. This is the 3rd (same kettle) bought due to dementia mum filling the last one with milk and burning it out and previous one setting light too on the gas stove. Very fast boil and looks great as well.

Kettle will not sit flush to the base, if there is no water inside. The weight of even one cup of water in the kettle will help the kettle sit flush to the base however. If you look after your kettles and make sure they're empty when not in use, to prevent scaling, then this is forever going to look wobbly on the base. Second flaw, which is a lot lesser an issue in the longrun, is that, I've never known a kettle require so many fill ups, boils and empties before the nasty plastic odours disappeared. I took out the red cup measurements inside, which might have helped, not sure. You can tell how much you're putting in via the window behind the handle anyway so they're a pointless addition. Other than that, boils fast, boils quietly, looks nice (when actually flush to the base) lights look cool. Overall, fair price, can't complain. but I'll probably just get a throwaway non-brand for a tenner next time. As these types of kettles always need lobbing out after a couple of years anyway.

Nice kettle

This is our fourth one of these, actually the first 3 were the smooth finish outside but the product is basically the same otherwise. I suppose that does mean they only last about 2yrs but then we probably use it 5 times a day, at least. Having tried glass, stainless steel and other plastic kettles, this design seems perfect to me. The kettle lights up with a pleasing blue LED light so you know it is on. It is quick and not too noisy but I have yet to encounter a whisper quiet kettle and this is not one either. It is a plastic finish and this means the outside of the kettle does not seem to get too hot and is easily wiped clean. The level viewing window is clear enough and it is easy to see the water level. The kettle is easy to fill, either by flipping the lid or via the spout. It pours well. The only downside is that the fine plastic mesh filter on the spout does break after a while but you can get replacements and I think the same problem applies to all kettles unless of course they do not have a filter at all. Stainless steel kettles get too hot I think. Glass kettles look good but they also get hot and are heavy and if you live in a hard water area then the water just looks horrible anyway. Stainless and glass kettles are also more expensive so you pay more for a less good outcome in my opinion. Some kettles I have bought had a strange taste to the water. This kettle does not. Also, this one really looks quite smart although beauty is of course in the eye of the beholder and kettles are only an everyday item. Still, good design deserves a mention.

Lovely looking kettle and very fast to boil up. Imwell pleased with mine and it is good value too.

Purchased a while ago and the kettle works fine. It is light enough for elderly mum. Good size, she happy so I am happy. Looks nice in the kitchen.

Avoid! Have had the kettle for over a week. Used for 2 days and had to stop. Kettle has been washed and boiled with vinegar. Every time it's boiled the water tastes and smells like plastic. It leaches plastic, so unsafe. Would love to return but can't. If I could give 0 stars I would.
