what happened to this product? why does this now feel like sand and have a medicinal smell? it used to be silky and soft.

You might be right. The last order I got did smell odd - very medicine like. Could it be that they added some actual medicine to it? Not sure about the sandy part.

Does this work for Jock Itch also?

My doctor reccommended it 50 year ago for use on underarm and under breast yeast infections. It cleared up in a couple of day and since then I have used it as a preventative after showers under my breasts and under a skin overhang I have due to weight loss. It work well. If I do feel the beginnings of one in hot weather it clears it up quickly. IT HAS NO TALC IN IT.
