When you're ripping out a seam, you need one hand for the seam ripper, a second had for the left side of the seam and a third hand for the right side. This is your third hand.

Helping hand it is quite useful unfortunately table clamp it’s sold separately! Quite pricey for the complete set

I bought this to try out that one japanese hand sewing technique but I use it whenever I need an extra hand. Mostly when seam ripping! Also good for braiding cords together and it helped when I was detangling some strings.

well made, and when camping, can safety pin it onto my jeans for lack of table. Very handy and helps keep the stitches uniform.

I was making my first ever quilt and saw this and thought this might help this newbie out. It sure works. I didn’t use it for the entire quilt but it does work and I couldn’t find the clamp that goes with this Clover brand so I ended up buying a lightweight plastic and metal C clamp for the table. Once I got the right length from the third hand and my fabric, things got going smoothly and adjusted position of fabric as needed.

いつも店頭購入で初めて購入しました。引っ張ったりするのでとても使いやすいです。ただ使ってるうちに真ん中のバネが折れてしまうので半年も持たないのでもう少しバネ部分が長持ちできないかなと思いました。

昔、おばあちゃんが着物を縫うときにこれで着物を挟んでチクチク縫っていたのを思い出しました。 まさか･･･その何年後かに自分が使うことになるとは、その時は思ってもいませんでしたが･･･。 最近、着物をリメイクして簡単なワンピースやカーディガン、ベストなどを作る楽しみを覚え、押し入れからおばあちゃんが着ていた昔の着物を掘り出したり、古着屋さんで安くで見つけた着物を、これはベストになるかなー？など楽しんでます。 着物リメイクの際は、少しだけ縫ってあった箇所をほどいて広げたり、縫い直したりするのですが、着物を解く際や縫い直す際に着物は丈が長いので長い距離をほどいたり縫ったりしなければなりません。 この商品は机に固定した所から紐で結んでおいて使います。 着物のほどきたい（又は縫いたい）箇所の少し先をこの商品で挟んで固定し、糸をほどいたり縫っていくと驚くほど作業が楽になりとても便利です。 たったこれだけの事で作業の効率が倍になるほどです。 なんだ挟めば良いだけなら洗濯ピンなどで良いじゃないと思うかもしれませんが、挟む力が全然違います。 優しい挟み心地なのにとってもしっかり挟んで着物を放しません。 洗濯ピンで挟んでやろうとすると力も入れずらく、すぐ着物が外れて落ちてしまいます。 昔の人はよく考えたものだなーと感心するくらいしっかり挟んでくれます。 本格的に着物を作る和裁の得意な方は、くけ台に結びつけて使いますが、今はくけ台ではなくテーブルに固定しておけば上手に使うことが出来、簡単で便利です。 お気に入りになったので、長く愛用したいと思いながら今日も楽しくチクチクしております。
