sturdy case, slim stylus holder
I was making do with DIY holders until I could buy a readymade case. Reviews were good on Amazon and Hisense forums. The downside on Amazon is the older early gen px which show the ports in the wrong locations/sides and a case that would not suit. I emailed the company and they assured me that the ports are corrected for the current Hisense tablets. That and reviews noting it's corrected let me take a chance on ordering a case. It took a few weeks to air the fumes out and not have any lingering synth smells after touching the case. Works good and gives sense of security for protecting the case. It took a while to get used to the weight. It's a good case for the Hisense tablet if you don't want to make your own but you'll have to find another solution for propping it up. The stand doesn't hold up well or at a convenient angle that works for me. I tried weighting it, stiffening and other adjustments. Instead, I found an inexpensive rigid plastic stand to use for portrait or landscape propping. The free stylus is good for getting by until you get a better stylus. Daiso $1.50 stores in our area have slim styluses that fit in the elastic holder. The free stylus has a great pen but I prefer a softer wider stylus tip and Daiso's are budget and travel friendly. The Trent Limir Stylus is my favorite but it's too wide to fit in the case holder so that stays at home. I don't store anything on the case holders (cards) because of concern it may scratch the tablet screen. I like the soft velvet texture inside fabric and the thick fake leather casing holds the Hisense well and safe when pocketing the device in a bag/backpack.The ports are wide enough to allow for all the cable connections of audio, mini HDMI, micro USB. Taking px with back facing camera have been fine. While I kinda wanted the more colorful cases, I didn't want a color frame (will give you afterglow of opposing color) after looking away. So I think I'll just decorate the black case to customize it. One downside is that the tablet can get rather hot when charging or using WiFi so sometimes I have to take it out of the case to feel safer about it.It is a little more cumbersome to remove the mSD card when it's in the case so I usually just use the micro USB cable to update for a small amount of data. For larger files (video, px) it's faster to update the mSD directly in a card reader. While I can remove the card, it's easier to do it outside of the case.

Almost perfect
Just got this today. It's great that there is a case made just for the Sero 7 Pro! Seems to be well made and well thought out- Almost. Two fairly large omissions keep this from being a total Homerun.First, there is no way to fasten the cover in the open position. So while there is a very nice hand strap to help hold the Sero the cover just floats around the back when open. On my iPads case from iHome, there is an elastic strap the holds the cover to the backside when open. This would be a welcome addition on this case. The other omission is kind of more obvious, although I didn't notice it the photos on the Amazon page. There is no hole for the ambient light sensor near the front camera. While this may not be a big deal for most, I have a rule set up that says if there is no light detected, go into silent mode (that way I don't get all those annoying email sounds at night). I had to shut that rule off while the Sero is in the case since the sensor is covered so it thinks its night all the time. The Atooma rule kept shutting off the sound on my tablet.I'm going to see if I can modify this case myself. I think a hole punch will fix the problem with the ambient light sensor. I'm going to attach a piece of elastic to hold the cover open. Wish the case had come out of the box with these, though.Other than these omissions, it really does seem to be a terrific case. The holes that are there fit perfectly. A nice pen/stylus comes with the case. Nice touch.I would defiantly recommend this to anyone with a Sero 7 Pro, as long as they know about the problems stated above.

Not bad for the price
I haven't had this case long enough to judge it's durability but it appears to be of decent quality. I especially like the elastic strap which allows me to securely hold the tablet with little chance of dropping it. The magnetic closure is clever but the concealed magnets could be a bit stronger. The case is a tad bulky but it does cushion the tablet nicely. The tablet fits very very snug in the pocket. The stylus holder and stylus/ball point pen is a handy extra. All the cut outs line up perfectly. I read the comments about the lack of a cutout for the light sensor. I'm thinking the light sensor may be directly beneath the front camera. Notice that the size of the front camera cutout is large enough to allow for it.As Walmart is the sole distributor for the tablet I'm surprised they don't sell a dedicated case for it. Eventually they probably will so it may be wise to wait as it might sell for less money. But I'm pleased enough with the case to recommend it to anyone.I mentioned above that the tablet fits very very snug in the pocket. I found out just how snug when I removed it to copy the serial & model no. from the back of the tablet. I used just a whisper of silicone spray on the inner edges of the case before reinserting the tablet. Still a very tight fit. No chance of the tablet ever slipping out of the pocket. In the description of the tablet a three year guarantee is mentioned however there is nothing included in the packaging that refers to the guarantee or even the name or location of the manufacturer.
