This product has changed over the last couple of years. This smelt terrible whilst being applied, dried and straightened. It removed colour from my hair and left my blonde hair very yellow. Fortunately, it washed out very soon after usage (although its not meant to) and my hair texture was back to normal. It totally wrecked the tinting bowl and brush and the combs that I used. I would never use this product again

Quick conclusion: this version is stronger than the last version but harder to work with and dries the hairNote: experience on South Asian textured hairI have been using the old version for a year during lockdown which was perfect as it didn't de-volumise my hair as much as salon treatments but made it silky and quick to straighten. Both products have been very effective at straightening my hair.Benefits of new version:It is stronger and even straightened my baby hairs and new growth virgin hair, which the old formula didn't doDisadvantages:- The product completely dried all of my non-virgin hair which is 97% of my hair and this will now need to be heavily conditioned and repaired. Prior to this my hair was in excellent condition as I had just had a massive hair cut- The formula does not wash out easily- even with the clarifying shampoo provided- Related to the above, this means whilst washing and styling/drying your hair, your hands are exposed to the chemical and it does something strange to the texture of your skin. Really hard to avoid this. My hands are very roughConclusion: really good product for straightening the hair and there are adaptations I could make to reduce the drying effect. e.g applying less product to damp hair but I can't afford to risk it as my hair is so dry now so will be going back to the salon for the real deal. If the old formula was brought back into sale I would buy thatAlso, Keratin treatments work better on textured hair rather than already silky, straight, highly (natural) keratinised hair so please note the above is related to textured hair.

I’ve just used this product for the first time. First I’d like to say the scent is not too bad. Have had terrible experiences in the past with the fumes. My scalp was tingling quite a bit. I tried not to get it onto my scalp but couldn’t be helped. Before I used this treatment I had fresh dark brown dyed hair but now I have orange brass hair 😭 I’m devastated that I’ll have to leave this treatment in for 3 days with this colour hair before I can do anything. So all in all day hair feels super smooth but not too happy it’s a total different colour to what I started with

Great product follow instructions don’t rush and it works perfectly! I have used this and the American version and they BOTH work just as well! Hair is silky soft and frizz free and straight! Fantastic

I would not recommend this product, it left my hair extremely dry, and with a residual that is still sticking to the ends, despite the 4 washes I already did. Ultimately,I’ll have to chop off all the ends. Perhaps the product is designed for more unruly hair types. I have caucasian long dark hair that were and still are a touch wavy. The strengthening effect of the product did not work at all for me, and it took me 5 hours to do the treatment as I’ve followed the instructions entirely.

Ich bin mit dem Produkt zufrieden. Ja es macht etwas trockene Haare aber glättet meine sehr starke Krause mit wenig Lotion und einem viel geringeren Zeitaufwand.Der Preis ist schon eine Hausnummer aber man kommt bestimmt öffter als 4 x damit hin (lange Haare)Am Anfang riecht es etwas chemisch aber nach dem Glätten ist der Geruch so gut wie weg. Ich finde es jetzt nicht penetrant sondern eher angenehm und auch dem feuchten, nassem Wetter bleibt meine Krause Glatt!Alles in Allem bin ich begeistert.

I was skeptical at first that this would either damage my hair or not do anything. I was pleasantly surprised when it worked super well - almost too well. My hair was very straight and absolutely no frizz. I did the damaged hair application too - and my hair feels healthy after use. 2 months later and I still have great result but finally getting a little bit of texture back. I rated 4 stars only because it made my hair a bit flat and too straight for my preference; however this could be the absolute goal of someone else. I would purchase again if I wanted nice straight and no frizz hair at an affordable price.

I recently used this product on my mom’s hair, as she had damaged, frizzy and curly hair and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Her hair looks smoother, shinier, straighter, and healthier than ever before.The application process was straightforward and easy to follow, however it took me almost 6 hours to complete the whole process 😯I was dying of flat ironing on her hair, lol !!The product had a pleasant scent and did not cause any irritation for me and her.After the treatment, my mom’s hair was noticeably more manageable, frizz-free, and beautifully straight. It has 2 weeks since we applied it, and the results are still impressive.I highly recommend this Hair Keratin Treatment to anyone looking to revitalize and straighten their hair. But I believe it’s not a good idea to do it yourself specially if you have a long and thick hair cause it might take forever and you can’t flat iron the back of your head very easily!!It’s better to ask a friend to do it for you and it’s very time consuming!!

I was skeptical, but I finally tried this. My hair is naturally curly and bleached blonde. I followed the instructions, and I’m thrilled with the result. I can tell where I still need to use the flat iron a few more times. And I’m keeping it on 3-5 days (I read somewhere that longer is better). I’ll update my review after I see how long it lasts.UPDATE: The treatment lasted for months! I unfortunately tried a different version this time, the one with “botanicals”. BIG Mistake! The fumes burned my eyes and the stuff burned my scalp! I returned that one and reordered this one so I’ll have it when I’m ready for the next treatment. I’ll never switch or try anyone else’s brand!

I was very skeptical on using this at first. I followed the directions as closely as possible, left it on my hair for 36 hrs before washing, and I love it! The scent is bad, chemicals burned my throat and eyes FYI, but my hair is smooth and soft. It has made my hair much more manageable, it’s been a week now and I hope it lasts for awhile
