I wanted a thick robe to be able to lounge around in after a nice shower. When others have said it’s a heavy and thick fabric, they weren’t being dramatic... this thing is heavy. I’m talking hold 3-4 average towels in your hand type heavy. To be honest, it almost feels a little bit too thick and heavy if you’re hoping to casually sit around and do your hair and makeup in it, you’ll probably want to opt for something lighter. However, this robe on a cold winter night would be a dream! It’s a bit oversized, so if you are hesitant on what size to order, I’d definitely size down.
