ASUS ROG STRIX LC 120 RGB all-in-one liquid CPU cooler with Aura Sync RGB, and 1x ROG 120mm ARGB radiator fan, Black

Like so many PC enthusiasts I try to balance aesthetics and cooling performance to ensure that not only does my PC look appealing, but the cooling is adequate for whatever I throw at it. Personally the styling of this cooler was the first thing that caught my eye. I love a white /black colour scheme with another accent colour, in my case purple and this cooler compliments my setup so well. The installation was dead easy, the instructions were so simple to follow, and the whole unit felt very solid so it never felt like anything was going to be damaged during the installation. The finish of the paint on the radiator is superb. It has a beautiful sparkle to it and the whole thing was packaged so well that it would have to be extremely badly manhandled to be damaged in transit. The software is probably the biggest let down, but it's by no means a deal breaker. It occasionally will throw a fit and not want to do what it's told, but once you figure out its quirks it very straightforward to adjust your lighting exactly as required. I will run some stress tests and update the review with temperatures but given the case and lack of airflow, I have the fans as intakes pulling air through the radiator from the minimal airflow slots on the front of the case and it's absolutely fine handling a Ryzen 2700X at well over 4GHz without breaking a sweat. The main thing about the cooler is it allows me to keep my CPU cool without having loads of fans in the case as I like a minimalist appearance and less fans is one way to achieve that, yet it still passes air over the other components in the rig to ensure nothing overheats. I am content with the price as it's a stunning cooler visually and it does it's job without sounding like a hair dryer on full power. I never review anything straight away, but two months down the line it's been trouble free and I hope it continues that way for the duration of its life in my computer and should I upgrade my CPU down the line I know this will be more than capable of handling AMD's latest offerings.

It’s fine to install if you read all the instructions first and then do them in a sensible order, not the ridiculous order they suggest in the tiny piece of paper they supply in place of an actual installation guide. The end result after having to dismantle my entire PC to add some brackets to the back side of the motherboard is a sleek cooling block with ARGB a really quiet fan setup on the radiator and a reduction of about 10C temperature in the operation of my CPU. Great product, lousy instructions.

This cooler is great however the light on the pump stays lit even when the computer is turned off

Wanted a 360mm AIO, but as the one i wanted was constantly out of stock, i decided to take the plunge with this AIO. The reason i chose a 240 AIO was purely because my LianLI Lancool 2 Mesh case can only accomodate a roof mounted aio of 240mm, and a 360 would of had to go in the front I'm using it to cool an i9 10850k overclocked to 4.9ghz on all cores, and at idle its in the mid 20's and under full load barely hits 65c the RGB fans all sync with my motherboard, but i can't get the pump head to do the same without adding the asus rgb software as using a Gigsbyte Vision Z590 Overall im super happy with this AIO, im usuing the stock thermal paste added to the pump head by Asus, but i plan on cleaning that off and using some thermal Grizzly cryonaut to see if temps drop even further

I love it very nice and very well built product had it in my PC almost 2 years and not had a single issue with it. Love it willbiy again for my next build.

I bought this from Amazon last month and used it for over three weeks. Performance was really good and I loved the white colour scheme. Presentation from Asus is excellent too. Unfortunately, I had major problems with it. From day one, Armory Crate (Aura Sync) would not detect the RGB Pump or the fans. Even when I completely removed Gigabyte's RGB Fusion from my PC completely, it still wouldn't detect anything. I installed and uninstalled and reinstalled the software about 15 to 20 times, but in the end, nothing would work. The Asus software is like a virus. Even when you uninstall it using Windows or Revo Uninstaller, it leaves many processes, folders and registry items in Windows. Pretty shocking how bad it is. I was learning to live with the fact I couldn't control the colours, but after doing some cable work and disconnecting and reconnecting the pump micro B cable, the Asus logo stopped displaying on the pump altogether. All I was left with was a smudgy mirror. Hopefully, your mileage will be different. Perhaps this only works with Asus boards. I'm not sure. When it works, this is an easy AIO cooler to recommend. Unfortunately, I had nothing but problems with the software side.

Had this for about 20 days now and just as the title states, it really is a strong AIO, setup was very easy, (add what cpu bracket you need with a simple twist and pull. Understandable why most AIO are adopting it. It comes with pre applied thermal paste and RGB fans. The cable maganement is kinda nice to as it has a micro usb connection on the pump.

Wasserkühlungsgeräusch schnurrt bei mir kann aber über die AI Suite 3 auch reduziert werden, falls die Temperaturen der CPU es zulassen. Bei Intel Prozessoren zu empfehlen, bei AMD eher nicht. Im Desktopbetrieb schnurrt die Wasserförderungseinheit im maximal Betrieb etwas lauter als die Gehäuselüfter. Bei Last nicht wahrnehmbar, dafür kraftvolle, beleuchtet Lüfter, die das System mit Impulsen schnell runterkühlt. Sie sind sehr leise und sezten bei meinen Einstellungen ab und zu für 5 bis 10 Sek. ein und danach wieder leise. Beleuchtung über Aura super anzusteuern. Installation kinderleicht. Wärmeleitpaste ist maschinell aufgetrage und von der Menge gleichmäßig aufgebracht und perfektioniert. Anschluß Strom am USB Port auf dem Motherboard, CPU_Fan und dann noch an der AIO_Pump Wasserkühlungssteuerung auf dem Motherboard. D.h. die Anschlüsse sollten vorhanden sein. Meine CPU, i7 9700k, kommt selbst bei Last nicht über die 44 Grad Celsius. Die Schläuche sind abgewinkelt und lassen sich leichtgängig in verschiedene Positionen stellen. Daher verdrehen sie sich nicht oder stehen unter Spannung. Sie sind auch dezent und nicht so breit und extrem, wie bei anderen günsitgeren Herstellern. Qualität finde ich super, auch wenn ich mir Gummilagerungen wünschen würde, um Vibrationen zum Gehäuse zu verringern. Dah muss ich immer selbst nachhelfen und mir dafür geeignetes Material einkaufen.

Kit watercooling utilisé sur une config gamer composé par une carte mètre ROG Strix Z409 E Gaming sur CPU Intel Core i7-10700K. Accessoire remplissant grandement sa fonction. Le kit est très complet et comprend tous les accessoires (fixations pour montage sur CPU Intel et AMD), connecteurs (ventilateurs, pompe et RGB) et visserie nécessaires au montage de l'ensemble. Le groupe waterblock-pompe est déjà enduit de pâte thermique. La préparation et l'installation ne présente pas de grandes difficultés il faut être précautionneux et utiliser un outillage adapté pour l'assemblage des composants et le montage dans le boîtier. Le bloc radiateur et les 3 ventilateurs en 120 mm est assez volumineux et requiert un boîtier de dimensions conséquentes adaptées sinon l'intégration s'en verra compliquée ou même impossible, assurez-vous donc que votre boîtier est suffisamment grand et compatible avec le montage de cet accessoire. Intégré dans une configuration ASUS ROG, le paramétrage du refroidissement et de l'éclairage sont aisés grâce aux applications et utilitaires gérant les composants. Éclairage et adressage RGB configurables via AURA et paramétrage du refroidissement et de la vitesse de ventilateurs avec Fan Xpert. Des préréglages sont disponibles et restent entièrement personnalisables selon les préférences et l'utilisation de votre PC. Niveau bruit, les 3 ventilateurs en 120 mm restent discrets en idle, par contre cela souffle très fort et devient vraiment bruyant lorsque l'on pousse au maximum. Pour ma part il s'agit d'un très bon produit ASUS dont je suis très satisfait dans le cadre de ma première expérience avec une configuration watercooling.

Wie von ASUS erwartet ist die AIO in sehr guter Qualität gefertigt! Ein Y Kabel fehlte zwar in der Verpackung, aber war das erste mal überhaupt und kann passieren. Laufen tut sie trotzdem und sieht dabei auch genauso gut wie im Vorstellungsvideo aus. Danke und definitiv wieder !!
