Love them more and more.
Oh my Gods, what the ever loving f? This book is non stop action from start to end. And the ending. Why did it have to end like that? Just, why? Not right. Going to be on pins until I get my hands on the next one, because this series is getting better and better as we go, and I'm falling more and more in love with Jase and Bethany, which I didn't think was possible. Things this author can do with words astounds. Amazing."He doesn’t just glance at me, he doesn’t observe me the way others do, inconsequentially and only with little curiosity. He stares at me with a hunger and a need for more, to see more of me and what’s inside of me. He looks at me like he never wants to stop seeing me."~Bethany~

I'm Even Sure What To Say At This Point WOW!
I just finished this book and I'm still in shock, I guess that's the word I'm looking for. At this point this story is so convoluted, with so many unexpected plot twists that I truly have no idea how this is going to end well for Jase and Bethany. Willow has so many different "feels" happening for Jase and Bethany both towards each other and personally at this point that everything is starting to implode. As I'm reading all the Cross Brothers series there's one point I'd like to make about Bethany. There are points in the story where her reactions seem a little over the top considering what she knows about their lifestyle. However in both Carter and Daniel's story their significant others understood the kinds of things that could occur when involved in that type of life. I'm not saying they agreed with the way certain things happened, but they did understand the possibility.I'm still trying to let the cliffhanger ending sink in to my shocked brain. I don't understand why Jase would be so careless knowing Bethany could be around. It seems like Bethany could have at least given Jase the chance to explain. Officer Walsh shows up at Bethany's house at the "perfect" time and didn't even give her time to breath before arresting her. What exactly did he arrest her for at that moment anyway, he didn't have any idea why she had blood on her. This last cliffhanger point, what a specific description of Seth's clothes and shoes hmm!I hope this wasn't all bable as I wrote it immediately after finishing the book! Willow has given the reader one wild twisted plotline, if there were ever two people more incompatible at this point also, well I'll just finish with I can't wait to see 👀 how this story ends!! The last book can't come fast enough!

A Single Kiss Will Lead to So Much More
A SINGLE KISS is Book 2 in the IRRESISTIBLE ATTRACTION TRILOGY. Thankfully this book takes up where A SINGLE GLANCE left us hanging. The relationship of Bethany Fawn and Jase Cross is having some turbulence. Neither wants their “agreement” to end, but have doubts how anything further could actually last. Bethany wants nothing to do with Jase's work, but she does want him. She finds that in her messed up life that Jase maybe the only person she actually can trust. That Marcus character has become their arch enemy. With every step she took it led her back to Jase. But she never got to relax too long, before trouble would find her. It was waiting around every corner. And if Jenny was really dead they needed to find justice for her. Her sister was gone, and she has no one left but a man who she knows is bad for her. The only known in her life right now, is having Jase beside her. As long as she has him, nothing else matters. She has decided this is her new world and she is going to stay and see what it brings. But then the unforeseen happens. We will just have to start reading A SINGLE TOUCH to find out what will happen next.

Blessedly more suspenseful than the first
This book had more suspense than the first, and was a more enjoyable read for me. But regrettably, I don't have much feeling for Bethany and Jase as a couple. Jase is hot, and damaged, and Bethany is certainly damaged, but I'm just not connecting with them together. Maybe it is Bethany's melancholy disposition? Who knows. The writing in this book, as always with Willow Winters books, is solid. I love revisiting the Cross brothers, and the characters from this world. I am curious about how this will play out. I was excited by the bomb the author dropped toward the end of the book, so casually you could almost miss it. What is really going on there? THAT is what is keeping me reading this series- the suspense. This is still a good entry into the Merciless world, but it is thus far my least favorite, unfortunately.

A Single Kiss
A Single Kiss was a heart-pounding, keep you on the edge of your seat read. Jase and Bethany's story picked up right where the first book left off and I was once again riveted. The connection between Bethany and Jase only grew stronger in this book as they each struggled with their feelings. I loved the push and pull between them. With so many twists in their story and secrets being kept as others come to light I can't help but wonder what's to come for Jase and Bethany. A Single Kiss was a thrilling and explosive pageturner that has me looking forward to what promises to be an amazing conclusion to this addictive trilogy.

An excellent continuation to the story .
Oh my goodness me !!! ,what an excellent continuation to the story . Bethany is still mourning the tragic loss of her sister Jenny but of course we now know she may be and probably is still alive , sadly though Jase has chosen to keep this information from Bethany . Alone in her house one evening Bethany is reading The Coverless book that she found in her sisters possessions to see if he4 sister left a coded message in it . Walking into the kitchen when she hears creaking floorboards instantly she realises that someone has just entered her house in fact she hears two more pairs of feet soon after . Knowing that it’s not Jase she’s terrified and manages to hide in a cupboard only coming out when she was sure that they’d gone . Thankfully Jase had decided to call after all to see her the scene that greets him shocks him he instantly goes in search of Bethany . Finding her emerging from a cupboard his first instinct is to check that she’s ok . When he does finally look around and surveys the scene before him he realises that who ever the intruders were they'd made it look as a break in but they we’re really looking for something in particular . Fearing for Bethany’s safety and the fact that her house had been trashed he tries to get her to go and stay with him ,she refuses but does agree to go to a hotel instead . After having dinner with Jase the following day when he demands that Bethany move into his place she does . As with the first book the story is full of mystery & intrigue, there’s still the matter of the “outstanding debt “from book one so there’s a good helping of hot sex between Jase & Bethany. As always Jase’s & his brothers continue their “business “dealings , we find out that Jase can be very persuasive in obtaining information which includes very graphic & stomach churning violence particularly so in the last chapter 🤢. We mustn’t forget Officer Walsh who seems to be on a one man crusade to bring the crime lords to heel . However we learn of a meeting between Jase & Marcus but it’s left us no closer in finding where the mysterious Marcus is hiding or indeed what he intends to do , as we know it does however end on a cliffhanger 😱. Waiting patient now for the final book

Second part of this story, so good!
This is the second part of Bethany and Jase’s story. Their relationship is as rocky as ever in this book as they both try to come to terms with what they mean to each other, and whether that’s enough as they still don’t seem to trust each other fully. Bethany is seriously close to breaking point in this book and Jase keeps pushing her more over the edge! Really enjoying their relationship and how real and vulnerable they both are. What an ending! Can’t wait to go straight into the last book!

Truth, trust and lies
Jase and Bethany’s romantic hurricane continues. This is such a dynamic, explosive, tormented journey. Nice guy nasty guy. Confused girl, strong firry girl. The Cross brothers are one alpha bunch, who must be in complete control, but love their woman to the depths of hell and Jase is no different. There are such riveting moments of total despair, and tender warmth, it leaves the reader exhausted. Who is good? Who is evil? And does running away fulfill the empty answers. A cliff hanger ending, by good cop or bad? A waiting game for us all.
