OK I'll start by saying I love love LOVE this, BUT.....(and there always is a "but" isn't there?) It isn't exactly the color it says. So to preface I have dyed blonde hair which is a great starting base when doing colors and I've had rose gold in the past. L'oreal why did you discontinue this color it was amaze balls??!!?? I hate you development team who decided it wasnt cost effective. I wish hemorrhoids on both your houses. But I digress. If rose gold is what you're looking for this isn't it. It's pink (see pics attached). This isn't a bad thing I freaking LOVE this color and the way it came out but if you're going for that subtle rosé color you should know this ain't it babe. Now to the review. 1. This color came straight mixed in a bottle. Which I found nice as it was less prep and no measurements. The bottle is thick dark plastic so it gave me comfort knowing that during shipping it wasn't exposed to light affecting processing. 2. The smell was all together pleasant I mean I wouldn't bathe in it,but ya know, for a chemical dye definitely not the worst I've ever used. 3. I applied it evenly and covered with a cap. I blow dried over the cap for a few minutes to kick start the processing but I do that every time I color not just the bright ones. 3. I let it sit for 30. This is longer than the directions suggests but my hair has been processed since I was 12 and I've found through trial and error and over the thousands of times I've colored that a little longer is needed for my hair type. 4. Color washed out evenly and did not require much scrubbing. This was nice as sometimes with colors because you're rinsing with cold water it can be a chore actually getting it off your strands. This isn't an issue with artic fox. 5. It did feel a little dry as I rinsed but after conditioning it was totally fine. If needed I say let yourself sit in a conditioning mask if you're really worried but I doubt it'd be necessary. 5. To sum up. It's easy to use and left my hair feeling nice. The color isn't exactly how it's shown but I feel that as it fades because it is a semi I think it may become closer. I will update in 2 weeks with new pics

Purchased Frosé color. I used this on my kiddo. She wanted light pink hair. Unfortunately, the pigment just wasn't strong enough. I bleached her hair first, toned it and then waited a week before putting the pink in. Might've been user error but most of the pink washed out when rinsed out with cold water. But I could tell the color wasn't going to work out after I finished. You would need to have the lightest possible bleached hair to have this actually show. If you're lucky. -Pros- It smells good Nice size options Very conditioning Easy to rinse out Light pink doesn't stain -Cons- Not enough pigment Thick hair needs extra product Won't last long On the pricier end I've also tried the Transylvania color and that was the most horrible color I've ever tried. It's not black. Put it over my gray/white hair and it's now blue. Think I may have to stay away from this brand. I've never had a good experience.

Felt like I was using koolaid with how little color deposited into my hair :/ my hair was a little brassy, so it makes sense that it’s not a perfect pink or anything, but it just straight up looks like it did nothing, and this is after two rounds of coloring. Absolutely nothing in my house was stained and I took absolutely zero precautions which is cool but I guess that comes at the cost of the color😭 this is with frosé btw

But I would recommend, unless you have very close-cropped/short hair, to buy AT LEAST TWO, maybe THREE bottles to get full coverage, and definitely leave it in for at least an hour if you can. The first time I used it, I washed it out in about 30 minutes and it only colored part of my hair. Had to use another to get full coverage on my ends. It's not as vivid or as fully-covering as a more permanent dye, but this is a great option for commitment-phobes who might not be sure if they'll like the color! It comes out sort of pastel pink. I have bleached-blonde hair.

super great, my go-to. very light color and fades quick but it’s worth it for the ideal consistency and good scent. totally recommend.

i love how the dye came out!!! if you want a really pastel pink color then ur hair is gonna have to be blonde af or platinum/white to achieve this look! doesnt stain my hands or sink and is very easy to use!

EDIT: lasted 4 washes for me There are hardly any reviews on FROSE, so here is one. The first pic is my washed out pink, second is after using frose, third is so you can see the color straight from the bottle. I have no idea what brand was used for my first round of pink because my hair dresser did it and it was HOT PINK. I wanted something lighter. The reviews for Frose were not very promising on arctic fox’s site but I decided I was in a gambling mood. My hair is naturally dirty blond and has bleached streaks in it for my pink. As you can see, the frose did take in my hair, and I really like it. I do not know how long it will last yet, I will update when I know. Method: per bottle instructions- wash and dry hair, apply product, cover and recommends applying heat and leaving product in for at least 30 min, rinse until clear with cold water What I did because I’m a lazy risk taker: did not wash my hair because I didn’t want this to take all day, applied product, put a Kroger sack on my head, left product in for 45min-1h, rinsed gently with cold water. When I rinsed there was no pink washing out so I just rinsed until it wasn’t slimy anymore and stopped. The product clung well to my BLEACHED hair. It is not visible at all on my natural dirty blond hair which is what I personally wanted. I would not use frose on unbleached hair. I highly doubt it would stick. I used a 4 oz bottle. This was a definite stretch. If you are coloring your whole head and have medium to long hair please get the large bottle. Do not skimp. Saturate your hair and leave it for over 30 minutes. Rinse with COLD water. This is what I did, but all hair is different. I saw on AF’s website that some people were mixing the hot pink and frose together and it resulted in a pretty more vibrant pink. If frose washes out too quickly for me then my plan is to mix the two.

The colour is really pretty, it looks exactly like the picture on the bottle. Texture is on the thicker side so application is really easy, no dripping or anything which was nice. HOWEVER it fades so so quickly! I've had to do retouches every two washes - way too often given the price. So despite the pretty outcome and very pleasant scent I won't be buying this again.

I used it a couple times on my bleached blond hair and it stayed 1-2 weeks... Didnt show much cuz so pale. Loooove the smell though, and the brand! Will try a darker pink next time.
